Debbie (purple7), Kristie S., Julie H. and I (c3wham) had a super time this weekend. Enjoyed meeting everyone. Had fun at Red Robin too! I hope to be able to get together with YLM and her buddies some time in future. We went to another Michael's on our way home and Debbie and Kristi bought a cuttlebug!! We had to search for one more 40% off coupon but we got it!
Doodah and Stampsncars, thank you so much for the fun day and great door prizes, we had a so much fun. We look forward to the next gathering.

Cindy, did you really see us on the hwy on your way home? That's amazing, we thought you'd be long gone since we made some stops at Michael's, Staples, and Starbucks. We also saw an awful car fire on I5 near Tacoma I think. Too much traffic for a Sunday!

I am so bummed I was not there...but I don't think i would have been much fun or help in the state I was in yesterday, better today but not much.
I will be visiting my folks in Idaho for an extended time so any mail can be sent there.

I had a GREAT time! This was my first swap and pretty much didn't know what I was doing, but you all made it easy. It was a blast and thanks Debby and Ann for organizing a really fun event. Can't wait for the pics!!
You guys SHOULD thank Dorinda too. She did a lot of leg/email work pre-event and that is nothing to sneeze at!........OH!........a pun ;-)
I helped my kids all afternoon at their house. Got 80 gallons of apples out of the back yard.......morning glory off 20 feet of fence.......one room walls wiped down with TSP........came home to Chinese take out and a lovely couch! I am sooooo pooped. My feet also did NOT appreciate my high heels this morning at church!!
I'll work on getting my pics uploaded tomorrow morning.
It was fun meeting all of you!
Glad everyone made it home safe and sound with no tickets!

Good Morning! THanks so much Dorinda, Ann, and Doodah, for putting together such a fun event. I think everyone had a wonderful time. Now I just need to make some time to play with all my new goodies that I purchased afterward! haha
Dorinda, I hope you get better soon! I'm so sorry you had to miss the event.
Augh!!! Okay.....I have about 60 photos that I have cropped and sized. I have a question for you gals.......I created an album in my gallery to put them because I didn't want all of them in front of my card pictures soooooo.....does that mean they can't be in the OR/WA Part 2 section. None of them are showing up in the swap gallery. Ideas?

It is my understanding that if you put them in a folder they dont end up anywhere else. Maybe you could post a keyword and we could all find them.
Roseanne
Welllll.....I guess I can't so I'll just upload into the Stampalooza gallery and bite the bullet. I'll have to change the ones I've already got in my album. Wish I could upload them all al once!!

Thanks to our hostesses who worked so hard to put this event together. Believe me, I know whereof I speak! lol As usual, way too much talking and not enough stamping... on my part. ;) But I loved the projects I got to see. Never did get to see projects on other tables.
Missie, I still love your card... I don't have a Cuttlebug, but I will try to recreate it with my Sizzix and the adapter. Your creation really "spoke" to me.
I want to thank Ann and her family for their hospitality and for giving me a place to lay my head Saturday night. I couldn't have managed the trip (financially) without your generosity. Muchas gracias, amiga.
For me the highlight of the event was meeting CJ from Art Neko. OMG!!! Talk about speaking to me!! This is the most excited I've been about a craft project in years. And on the way home, I found the PERFECT set of acrylic stamps at Crafters' Warehouse. A number of the stamps are exactly the right size and shape for the bamboo tiles. I also found a beautiful roll of handmade paper at Stamp A Dee Doo Dah with little pieces of flowers and ferns in it. Ideal for the tile projects. Now all I have to do is make time to create! Thanks again for inviting CJ to the event!

I had this same issue from our swap last spring. I uploaded to a separate folder in my gallery because I didn't want all the photos coming up in front of my cards. You can either upload to a special gallery or a special folder in your gallery but not both. If you upload to a special gallery, they'll be in your general gallery. I wish they'd figure out a way to fix it.
Okay.....I've uploaded to b*tt load of pictures under the Stampalooza 2007 gallery. I had some issues and had to upload some twice......kept getting errors. I know that I didn't get some people's pictures with their cards. I kept asking people to make sure I got them but still some got missed. I think I missed Tracy Schultz, Cherby and Luci. If any of you have pics of their cards, please post. It would be nice to see close ups of the cards too. I should have done that but was just a little busy!
Sure wish there was a better and faster way to upload photos. I did about 50 or more and it took me over three hours! Augh!!
Enjoy!

Thanks for the effort and I will talk to the "powers that be" about uploading large quantities, I know Tracy used to do a lot after convention and maybe there are some hints and tricks or maybe we can have Daven build something in his free time....LOL!

I've had a request from Candice.....Art Neko.....our make and take. She would like to see some photos of your finished projects for her library. She might even post them in her newsletter! Post them to the Stampalooza 2007 gathering site and I'll give her the link to that.
Here is the note I got from her.

Ann,
I really enjoyed your event on Saturday--lots of positive feedback. Let
me know when the photos are posted. If it is appropriate and if you
have an email list of the attendees or can somehow post to them, I would
love it if anyone who participated would email me scans or digital
photos of their finished pieces to post on my website gallery. I know
not everyone got into this, but some were quite excited about this
project and I also learned some cool things from those who participated.
***************************************
I don't have your e-mail addresses to give to her. (Some of you already gave her yours) I think that it is neat that she learned something new from us too!

That sure would be neat. I know that they are revamping the gallery somehow.

Thank you ladies for a wonderful time on Sat!!! I wish we could've made all the cards, but then some of us might still be there! I took some pictures, so I'll get those posted. I LOVE my SCS baseball cap!
I was sitting next to SUMTOY when she won the big basket and she said, "Oh, I have so much STUFF!" I offered to take it off her hands (even offered her money!) but she didn't go for it. I think she was pretty overwhelmed at what a *HUGE* *AWESOME* gift that was! And the door prizes were pretty awesome, too. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.
I will donate Jen's church in Redmond (WA). Jen and I will host the next one; right Jen? She has a huge church and I know it would be a blast. But DOODAH has to come so she can pick the door prize winners and say DOOOOOOOOODAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH, every time she pulls a name, don't you agree? And maybe Ann can bring Ray so he can be our official bodyguard! Jen, let's get on it!
