I needed to make sure that DH would be in town and it now looks like he will be. So put me down. Looks like we need a main dish of some sort? I think I can figure something out that would qualify.

Hi, I'm wondering if it's to late to join? I didn't look on here until today, I'm a duh and forget about the forums, I usually just go straight to the gallerys. I need some stamping friends. I have been stamping for a long while but got kicked out of a scrapbook club about 1 year ago because they said I didn't come often enough. I guess not any of them have tuff times with family where you have to drop everything. anyways, Can I join? if not that's okay to. I live in Magna (salt lake area) but would love to drive up. I could bring anything you want me to. Let me know,

I'm thinking maybe I will just cut out 12 or 14, and give the extras to my family if we don't need them. But I love the idea of adding latecomers.

Did we establish how complicated the cards would be? I was cutting out pieces today, and it occured to me that it might be better to err on the easier side, if we are to make 10 or so cards, and have to figure each one out. Anyway, mine is reasonabley simple.

You're in Julie! I'm glad you can come, but sorry you have to put off your surgery again!
Yeah, it's still going to be done sometime in the next two to three weeks, but I'm waiting for my sister to move here from Dallas and get settled in. With not being able to touch my foot to the ground at all for two months minimum, I'm gonna need all the help I can get. She and a couple of my nieces can come and help out for a couple of days at a time. I'm so glad, because I don't know if I can truly count on my HUBBY!!!! :rolleyes:

FYI - There isn't an oven or a microwave at the clubhouse, but there is a stovetop and a fridge. Be sure to bring a soda if you want one, I will bring water.
I was going through some of my scrapbook stuff today, and thought I might bring along a few giveaways...we could count it as recycling or something. Did we determine if we were doing door prizes?

Is anyone planning on making a Father's Day card for the swap? I can make one this week for hubby, but I won't if someone has that planned anyway.

I have recently become obsessed with unmounting my wood stamps. I am a hands on person, and really would like to see what others have done. If anyone has undertaken this project, it would be great if you could bring a couple samples for me to see. I have read scads of posts and looked at all different kinds of things online, but I would rather see it first hand.

I'm not doing a Father's Day card. I've already made one for this year. As for unmounting, I actually mount my unmounted sets on wood blocks, so I can't help you there.
