Upstate NY Stampers

I am in the Saratoga Region of NY and I was wondering if anyone else was from around here. I see we have a lot of NY'ers which is awesome..but I would like to set up some local events! PM me if anyone is interested. I love meeting new people!

There are a bunch of us from CNY who love to travel to card making events so plan it and and we will come! Currently plans are in the works for Binghamton Aug. 20, Rochester Sept. 20, Ilion Oct. 8, Wysox in PA Nov. 5 and we would love to have you join us. :grin:

I'm not as far as Saratoga, I'm in Putnam County

I used to live in Dutches County and it was well worth the trip to meet and stamp with these ladies! I still think it's worth it from Long Island but so far I've only been able to get to ones held in Poughkeepsie.

I miss that I can't get together with them more often.

Just read your post. I have just joined and am originally from Long Island though I just sold my home there. I do come down lots and lots as my family and friends are still there. Smithtown, Hauppauge, Riverhead, etc. My other daughter is in Dutchess County and I am only 1 1/2 hours away, just over the PA border off of 84.
Perhaps one day we can coordinate a "get together". I have lots of supplies at my home in Fl but am starting to build a supply pile here in PA so I am not hauling things all over the country.

I'd love a get together ... Does your daughter in Duchess County stamp? There is usually a gathering in Poughkeepsie around March. And there are some in PA but I'm not sure of the details.


As for Long Island, I try to go to a local scrapbook store in Babylon called Scrap-A-Latte whenever I can. It hasn't been often due to "life and work" but I hope to get there before Summer ends! Usually I meet my BFF there (she lives in the Bronx and started me on this hobby!). Of the town's you mentioned, I'm closest to Riverhead.
