does the room we are in have outlets??? my sister and I have cards that need the heat gun and want to make sure that we can plug it in for the others to make the cards...
I've been to larger events where there was just a little "heat gun station" set up w/ several heat guns at an out-of-the-way table. Then you get it all prepped and just head over to heat it. Helps avoid bottlenecks. Just a thought! Might help if there are several cards with heat embossing. (I'm always planning, I can't help myself). :mrgreen: If it's the same room as last year I'm pretty sure they were fully equipped with outlets.
ok, good... I am getting so excited... I made 2 cards and my dh did the judging on which one I am making...
I am a bit bummed that my punch for my "individual" card doesn't work... have to take it back to the store and hopefully they have another one, or else I am going to have to do some re-thinking.... uh!!! back to the drawing board...
Me and Christina finished out lottery swaps today! Now onto everything else. Always have to do the fun stuff first!

Sis-in-law and I had to place a stampin up order for more paper. Hope it comes quick! Running out of time. Called and it won't be here till next Tues.

Wow...that must be "the" craving for 2007. I had it bad with Sam - well, actually, it was frosting that I craved. The cake is just the bonus And I have a friend pregnant now too who can't get enough cake! Weird

It is count down time and eek! I have nothing thought out. I should be doing this at work ;) between calls! I had a workshop last night. Sat night the hostess told me it went from 8 to 17 attending, so I redid prepping and projects to make it easier to assemble everything. Six showed. It was so much fun, tho. This Sat evening World Card Making Day. I may be sitting here all alone. No RSVP calls yet. I can do my cutting for the shoebox at that time. Always a silver lining!
Kathie, I thought my upline Sandy signed up. We talked about driving together and she was mailing out her registration about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Don't tell me I'm driving alone!
I am bringing lots of card samples to share so bring your cameras. I don't have time to upload anything anymore so the only way you can see the idea later is to take a picture.
Are we all to bring a food item to share? Chocolate anything, right? lol Well gotta run check mod stuff in swaps. Looking forward to all the fun on the 13!
Once I get my physics homework done I am stampin! I got a huge exam monday :(. So would it be ok if I made my shoebox in different colours so everyone could choose which was their fav? I want to see for my self what my idea produces in the colour families. And can I use retired stamps, there is a set I want to use sooooooo bad? Wow only 7 days left, I need a vacation!

We worked on nugget boxes and her flyer for a stanley open house. A great evening and my house is ready for my stamp group Tuesday night.
Tommorrow is all about prep for the shoebox and other stuff. I have the coolest lottery idea!!!!!!!!!!

ok, shoebox stuff all cut out and I have to get in gear for the other 2 things I signed up for... this is going to either be a really long week waiting for friday to come... or it will fly by and hopefully I will get everything ready in time... uh!!!
Just so I can clarify....With the shoebox swap was there ever a determination on if we were creating 1/2 of the cards and the other 1/2 were done? I just want to make sure before I start....

Thanks for the clarification...I didn't want to make 1/2 and then find out I wasn't supposed to. I can't wait to go, this will be my first year and it sounds like it is sooo much fun!!!
