coils ! that's what I forgot on my order....
: O
please do bring some!
do you have any silver/pewter chrome... ?
I have a couple of black left...
is there white/cream coils yet? like to match su hodgepodge?
that would be ideal!

tia
luv ya, miss P!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``
I'm trying to work swaps this weekend...
so far my mojo has been gone...
I was brainstorming w. DH ,
(:O !)
and he suggested that I should make some really 'ugly on purpose', 'not normal' cards...
and we got silly and I was thinkin' that 'mean cards ' may be more my speed lately...
like "hapy berthday unckul dad"
or "happy graduational, Cousin, yer the best wife ever!"
or the 'Usuck' cards for mean people,
or twisted martha-esque cards: " to my veternarian, on the occasion of my dog's annual de-lousing"
I dunno if it will help my 'artistic process', but it was sure cool to be discussing cards with my hubby!
and it got me laughin' anyway instead of agonizing
I do have loads of projects prepped but after looking at them so long they don't seem "fresh" or good enough for my fave people in the world!
does that ever happen to anyone else?
a case of card stage fright?
I'll suck it up and get on with it today fer sure.
DH is going to take my kid away today so maybe I won't hafta fake an injury and flake the whole weekend!
JK!!!!
LOL!
okay I already asked but I am having a hard time believing...
in case I have it wrong...
saturday
full card shoebox swaps...
15 people in group but we will only be swapping with 5 plus 1...
do I have that right?
I finally have a fabby card but only enough supplies for 12 kits!
argh!
so I'm hoping that I have the smaller group thing right...
Hey Char you are right - I believe peggy is doing 3 groups of 5 for the shoebox swap so you can always make kits to swap with other people in other groups. Just like last year. HTH and peggy if you could confirm that would be great!
thanks !
always great to hear when I am right!lol
I was just panicking,
a crucial part of the process right?
while I dithered...I managed to knock off the 20 cardfronts swap
...woo!
changed the "cool fabby full card shoebox kit" to "3x3finished"
and I will do up those today...
the problem was that I hadn't read the contents of the transparency sheets correctly
assuming ( iknowiknow~!) that they were like a pack of normal specialty cs...I thought I had ordered enough
but I erred, and there are only two sheets in the pack! GACK!
3d kit still in the works...
I was thinking,
corsage...?
chest of drawers...?
hmmm....
there is still cake and ball...
whee. dh *finally* is up maybe he can have custody of ds again!
they went to wem yesterday and gave me 5 hours of bliss...ahhh
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

3/4 " coils seem to be a useful size...
I did up my SU catty, made several coaster books, calendar, etc...
so I guess that would be my pick...
plz&thxU peggy

Happy holiday monday ladies - and just a few more days until we are all together. I have some of my swaps done, and now I'm going to try and get organized, a difficult feat since I haven't been in my craft room for months now.

Ok, gotta quick lurking and finish up this last project.

Gayle - there is a Dollarama in Innisfail. We'll hit it before we head north.

I haven't started my swaps yet :( I have no heat in my house (we are replacing our boiler system) and my water is only temporary (being shut off again tomorrow). My kitchen floor is being removed tomorrow (ceramic tile - yuck gonna be a mess) and is going to be replaced this week. My new countertop (granite ) has been installed, but all my wall tile had to be broken and torn off, so now my walls are all crushed gyproc which needs to be replaced too. Going to be very nice when done, but a horrid mess until it is done.

Got home last night from my Alaskan cruise with OhMyCrafts. What a beautiful state Alaska is! The crafting was unbelievable and I'm sure I came home with at least $500 in freebies, plus they have shipped a "parcel" to all of us which they have told us is incredible. We are thinking of going on the fall cruise as well which is to New England. Starts in New York and cruises north, including NB and NS. Anybody interested? I promise you won't be disappointed. It was amazing.

We got to meet the gals from Provo Craft - they gave away 4 Cricut Expressions, a Cricut Create, Your Story machine, YuDu machine, Cuttlebug, probably 60 Cricut cartridges (we all got one that is not for sale - awesome). I won the Xyron Design Disc Maker, the Xyron Design Runner, the Accessory Kit and the Romance cartridge. We did a gorgeous scrapbook with these gals.

The owners of Bazzill Basics were there. They gave away thousands of $$ in merchandise. We did a beautiful calendar with them.

The owners of Vinyl Outlet were there. We did numerous projects with them.

Northridge Media was there and we did an amazing project with those two men.

I'll tell you more on the weekend -- if I can find my door to get out of my mess

goodmorning!
still off here/no school

will need to catch up with my mama stuff,
(kid was kissed and fed)
my maid stuff,
(laundry found, folded and more chugging away...)
and all my diy-slfer stuff
( I have furniture ready to be painted -all moved out into the yard last week -getting snow-ked!ugh!)

.....all in one day!

I had a whole 4 days worth of stuff
( at least!)
in each category of my job description...prob more!

and only the stampery stuff got done for EEIII
( but it was like a holiday for me!)
and I still have the secret gift to do...
just the handmade part
I went overboard with the assorted pampery stuff...
but it was all 2-2-2-tooooo cute to resist!
the cute project is planned for later today
as a "carrot"
if I get all my work done!

good morning everyone

WOW, Deb, that sounds absolutely incredible!! I'd love to go on a cruise--you never know

3 more sleeps till I get there......and no I'm not done with my shoeboxes!

I was just looking (lurking) in Anna's gallery and if they don't invite you to take a turn in the DD group pretty soon, they are missing out I can't wait to do the class with you

See you all soon!

Aww! Thanks Nancy! I'm no where near DD level, but I try when I have time! Honestly ladies, I'm in total need of this weekend! I haven't touched my stuff for over a week, that is weird for me! Now, I'm trying to figure out how I can possibly not bring everything I own... once I get into it I might not want to stick to one thing!

Don't worry Anna, I'm sure they have scouts

Neeru, the scenescapes where pretty much bought at a lss and a couple out of town. I did take a class a long time ago, but I like Annas method of the brayer better
Be nice to see you Neeru

Evening Everyone!

I'm just putzing around! Nothing to show for it ! I'm trying to pack light ;)(haha! as if that will happen!) Hi Judy!

I have to figure out how Do some child care stuff too..... PANKS and UNKS! Hmmmmm..... I think
I used those cards already earlier in the game. There's the grandma's next down on the list! I have to chauffeur 'cross town and back!

Okay! So I'll have the L'il Red Rubber Van ready to roll out before noon and back again after if anyone wants to go "somewhere!" Quite a few seats available! 'cept for the the navigator seat! I didn't vaccum up the kid crumbs from the last tour trip last weekend yet but I'll try if the sun comes out. Today was just too cold!

Can't wait to visit with everyone! Meet some new friends and see some young friends from before!
I wanna see if Deb got any tan lines to show :mrgreen:us!:mrgreen: You might wanna wear a coverup for your swimsuit as it is a bit cooler here!
See you all soon and drive safely! :cool:

Hi Peggy,
I haven't been able to get a hold of you for the pick-up of my sister's stuff. So, could you just bring it to EE3. I will get it to her next time she is in town.
We also have to exchange the nesties that got mixed up. Looking forward to getting that one and the bouquet set.
Thank you.

Peggy - I can't seem to find the list of "things to bring" for the Stampscapes class. I know I need my brayer - anything else?

Found it Peggy - got what I need.
