Hello Stampers!
I'm planning a Shoebox Swap for May 2, 2009. Cost is $20 fee includes goodie bag at check in, doorprizes, room rental, lunch and of course chocolate! I'm also collecting donations to go the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic in honor of my mom. Registration must be rec'd by April 10 (no exceptions).

Hi Robyn! Elkhorn isn't too far from me, but that's a busy weekend here. I'll keep a look out for any future gatherings you may plan.

Hi Robyn--I would love to join you too, but that weekend is a busy one. I have some friends coming to the area as there is a stamping/scrapping show in Waukesha and there is also a cancer walk that morning in Waukesha.
If you host another one, please post and I will try to make it. A thought--please post earlier so you give us more time to get the date in our calendar and then to make the cards when the count is given. Many people on here post a couple of months before the date. Here is a thread for a swap in Hartford in August and was posted in Feb: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
There was one in Madison on March 28 and was posted on 1-10. I don't mean to be critical, but a month is pretty short notice.
Robyn - I just saw this post for the first time. I, too am busy the weekend of May 2nd but would LOVE to do a Shoebox in Elkhorn sometime. My sister is the Founder/Publisher of True Woman Magazine in Elkhorn so I visit there whenever I can! I'm one of the people helping out with putting the Hartford Shoebox on August 15th together -- I hope you can come to that one and meet in person!
