I'm so excited, I can hardly wait!!! Tricia and I are thrilled to be doing a make-n-take at the SCS booth again. Orlando was a blast and we are so looking forward to Anaheim!
I wish I had some advice, Mandy, but I was pretty tied to the Splitcoast booth and didn't get a whole lot of time to shop and look around. I saw people with tons of shopping bags, though!
Anyone who went to the SuperShow in Orlando want to fess up and say how much you spent inside that exhibit hall?
I didn't stick around for the consumer show in Orlando, but if I had to offer advice, I'd say think about how much you want to spend, plan out the booths you need to visit and then add 30% for impulse buying....lol
Thank you Jenn but not just money but how about experience what do you recommend..what tips can you give? I think that's what most of us want to know. Especially for some of us who have never been before and are very excited to go..thank you

I keep looking but don't see it anywhere...
Thank you

some quickie tips:
- wear comfortable shoes!
- bring small bills in case you want to do a make & take and there's a charge
if anyone's been to a scrapbooking expo, do you have any tips for attendees?
Bring a rolling tote. Carrying packages on your shoulders/arms and trying to keep track of a gaggle of bags when you sit down to do a make 'n take will drive you crazy and send you directly to the chiropractor.
* Personally, I spent around $100 (give or take) at the consumer show / one day. Those who fly will want to take baggage costs/restrictions into consideration when purchasing, unless planning to mail excess home to yourself. (Yes, that's been done! Wonder how I know!) ;)
* Convention food & beverages costs a little more than you might think for what you get. Just be aware. If you're a seasoned scrap show attendee, this won't surprise. ;)
* Can't be reminded enough about comfy shoes.
* Are you planning to purchase a lot? Perhaps you'll want your favorite tote bag or rolling tote for the day, instead of those plastic sacks hanging on your arm.
That's awesome advice everyone... I would never had taken small bills for make n takes awesome and a rolling tote? they let you have those there? that's awesome if they do..Are you allowed to take your own drinks and snacks? if so that's what I'll probably do because I'm sure the food can get real spendy and the lines are probably long....
WOW! I'm so excited...I have nothing near me but a Michael's so this is so awesome...to actually touch and see in person and I will definitely wear some comfy shoes...
Thank you for the link...and Thank you for the advice..I'm going to soak it all in and start getting prepared ;)...

Another quick question.. hehe....is there a CHA countdown blinkie or whatever there called?? I would love to put one on my blog...LOL! thank you!!

Here are a few tips I can think of....
Bring snack bars and bottled water ( you can always refill the bottle)
2 pair of comfy shoes
A tote bag or a rolling bag - But not a jumbo sized one they take up to much room.
There is usually a coat and bag check if you go on a binge.
Get there at the start so you can do all them make and takes you want. this is a great opportunity to try new products, learn new techniques and see product that is coming to the market.
If you are driving you must pay for parking. If you stay in a hotel that is on the shuttle route it saves that cost.
Disney is directly across the street if you are a fan. Buy your tickets online before you go. You can find them cheaper that way. There are a few fast food places within walking distance and an outdoor mall with upscale restaurants that is a bit further of a walk but well worth it.
Any other questions send me a message. I will be teaching a workshop and 3 mini classes at the wholesale side of the show.

The key is to remember to take the camera out and actually use it, right?!
That IS the idea ... if you are workin' a booth, though it CAN be tough to remember!! This will be the first time for me just cruisin' around and NOT working!! I'll come and take some pix for ya, Val!
