OK I couldn't resist! Had to see who was hanging out here already LOL! Maybe no internet at the Lake would be a good thing ... I seem to be addicted to this thread! LOL!

Hey girls. I have been dying to get on this computer all day. My computer was done until now and man I was going through withdrawls. Yes, I need to get a life.
AnneMarie, my garden is flowering beautifully--between the weeds
I have a website--not that I've done much on it for a year or two and the email link probably doesn't work--but it does have pics of my gardens

So what is the link? I'd like to see your flowers poking out from between the weeds LOL!

AM, check out Nancy's profile, it's there. Nancy, your garden and pond is soooo beautiful, I am so glad you didn't take a stroll trhough my garden of weeds. I really need to work on mine.
Hi all, I'm subscribing too. Much to much fun not to. No point on sitting on the sidelines.....always better to be included in the fun and games.
Can't wait until I can decide what I am going to do next.
Judy
im moving my replies over here, so people can start to chat here.. yes, im trying to kill my own thread tee hee
my voice is all good... im trained to use my loud voice... actually my family is quite loud... i think its the chinese in me.. hahah
we definitely need to get together (the edmonton gals) for coffee and a stamping... anybody have room at their home to fit all of us in? my condo is out of the question.....
i know where you can buy a cuttlebug for cheap cheap... pm or call me, and I can order it for you
thanks for the donation ladies... im sure the doggies, kitties and lizards are all going to be really happy!
why bother unpacking? just use from the tote... and then when we go to innisfail, it won't be so hard!hahaha
I think I have finally recovered from this completely awesome weekend! All I can say is WOW! There were some amazing card fronts in that swap which I MUST try to re-create!! All in all the whole weekend was great! I thouroughly (sp) enjoyed it! Ya, I stressed way to much over being so new, and it so wasn't worth the stress!
For anyone that is new - this is a great way to get started for sure!!!
It was nice to put faces to names to names - sounds strange but ya know what I mean Laura, Dionne, Regina, Georgina, Carrie D, Velvet, Peggy & Diane- we must set up a play date soon!!
I learned how to BE enabled with that Cuttlebug and yes Dionne we ARE going to get it! Yippee!!
Peggy & Dianne - I am glad to hear that the two of you had fun with all of your stress (Peg - how's your voice?). Great news about the Human Society donation that we raised! That is awesome!
Still haven't unpacked yet, but there is always Friday! heehee
Thanks again to everyone who came out and had fun! Can't wait for the next one. I just night be going to innisfail!!! Yaaaaa
FYI
I'm really happy with my tote system and my two specialty craft bags.
even my generic rolly suitcase worked out great, although I think I need the costco box/cart/dolly thing with the pocket-y skirt/case/cover thing.Cool.
It's great, Peggy that you mention ordering the cuttlebug...
I think that, although the MAIN benefit of being stampbuddies is cooperation, inspiration, affirmations and friendship,
there's a very real financial benefit, too:
sharing stamps, embellishments, and other specialty equipment, and also our increased buying power.
does everyone now need a bug?
I do!
I don't even know the price point but I want one , right after I get a ATG
I was mortified when all my swap h2o bottles fell apart as I was going to share them out...
I really am going to give up mono altogether.
BTW
I think we need team jackets too!
Who is in for fleece jackets?
there are some Edmonton Downtown Business Association girls that walk by me on my "paper route" and they have red fleece pullovers and nice baseball caps.
I think we'd all look great in some kind of sporty team uniforms too.
not to knock the t-shirts Peggy made up in any way,
it's just that I do like a nice embroidered fleece....

ok i lied (not on purpose though).. I jsut checked... if I ordered the bug , it would be about the same at michaels with the 40% coupon..
at michaels, its 109.99, with the coupon (which you are allowed to use) its 65.99 + tax.. I can get it a tad cheaper, but its doesn't include shipping...
There are alot of bugs at the michaels in edmonton now, so if you can't find any at your place, let me know I can get it for you at michaels with the coupon
the good new is I can the folders and die cuts a bit cheaper than michaels WITH the 40%...so once you get your bug, I can help you get accessories for cheaper

Hey we should do one big order of the die and folders just before Innisfail to save on the shipping (or is it a % like SU?)
Same for the ATG All those interested about 2 weeks before Innisfail we should put one big order through for all those who NEED the ATG and adhesive LOL!

Yeah I was suprised when Mike walked in - he looks the same as from highschool too! Small world. Say hi to Gordon, Steven & Bryce for me. Hopefully there'll be a reunion next year so it's good to know that someone I "know" is in contact with them.

Time to go and start packing for the lake (heehee) I apparently have Thursday off as well (ok I have to work from home but come on!! how hard is that? turn up the volume so when I get emails I run back to the puter! heehee evil laugh hee hee)
Peggy - are the folders less than 5.75?? oh and the wondersful shapes that you cut out of teh coaxters - you will have to let me know which die's they are so I can get some of those too!

the folders are about 5.50 each....again, if we buy more, it will us save shipping...
I can tell you next time which diecuts I use....
have a look at the provocraft website, and tell me which diecuts/folders you are interested.. maybe I can start to collect the order and order it when you guys get your bug.. that way, you would be able to use it soon
p.s: I just called michaels, and they have tons of bugs at the west side location
