It looks like Pizza is the choice of food that day, if there is anyone that would not like Pizza let me know. There are so many places close to this location.... lots of food places..... So at this moment I am thinking $5 for lunch.......

Just a refresher.......

You need to bring two (2) different cards with you. We have 15 people and this will give us our 30 cards.... how exciting is this..... I really like the idea of two different cards. Hope everyone is in agreement ......

Default REMINDER: Pizza and double the cards

Remember ladies we will be having pizza delivered to us ($5 per person). Also, you need to bring supplies for two different cards so we can still go home with at least 28 cards. It will be a fun filled day.... not sure how the environment will bring so dress in layers. There is no kitchen but there is a close bathroom......

Cant wait.......

Lisa and Andrea - thanks so much for putting this together. It's a lot of planning on your part and always a fun time for us.

I am really looking forward to the 2 cards - as soon as I figure out what I am going to do. I have it narrowed down to about 4 different ideas. I guess it's time to fish or cut bait and decide. Looks like I will be busy tonight and tomorrow night!

See you on Saturday.

Thanks, everyone, for a wonderful day, and as always, great cards! There was a general consensus that the smaller group is nicer, and I have to agree.

Marcia - you were right....the website where I ordered the stick pins is Fire Mountain Bead and Gem. I ordered a bunch of them because there was a big cost difference, so if you want to share in the order, I'd be glad to.

Here is the pattern for the gift bag you all got today. They use one sheet of 12 x 12 paper. You can use the leftovers to add a panel to either side of your bag if you use double-sided paper and use ribbon or paper as the handles. Of course, there are a million ways to embellish them. Enjoy! They hold about 10 cards with envelopes, depending on how much stuff is on your cards.

We'll let you know when we're planning our next get together. I know it's early, but if I don't see you before the new year, have a wonderful holiday season. Can you believe it's almost time to say that??

Take care,
Lisa

Default great swap

Another Great Swap Andrea and Lisa. I really like the smaller group also. Not as rushed more time to mingle and visit. I also like the 2 cards each. No one seems to be waiting around for the same boxes. Thanks so much for allowing me to bring Courtney along. She really enjoys making cards to give away and it is good quality time with me. Pam

Default Another great swap!

Thanks Andrea and Lisa for a great day. The cards were terrific, as usual. I agree that the smaller group and double card idea was a hugh success. I may actually get ready for the holidays on time now that most of my cards are finished!

Looking forward to the next one.
