OK, Lou Ann's son found out that Rt 17 is now open at Owego so we're just gonna hop in the car & head your way! See you when we get there (we hope so anyway):p
We didn't plan for coffee. I'd suggest you bring what you'll need. There's places to purchase a short drive away though. Or, if you want to go to the trouble of bringing a pot, that would be fine of course.

So .. in and around the location of the church is all clear. I thought route 12 was reopened today?? More and more routes are being opened pretty quickly up here... it's my friends from the south I'm worried about getting out of the southeren tier. Once you are out of there I think you'll have smooth sailing. AND.. red sky tonight, so good weather for tomorrow!!
YOU will NOT need your SU embelly container... we opted without it. Sorry for the false alarm.
When you pull in to the church parking lot you will drive around to the left. You will be entering the door on the far right side ... as you are facing the BACK of the church. There will be a sign on the door... as soon as I make one!!!
PLEASE pull up and drop off your stuff, but ... you may want to park your vehicle on the other side of the parking lot near the day care center. While we are stamping away... later in the day ... the parking lot will fill up with church goers for the afternoon mass. They will want to park near our door and WILL block you in. So.. if you want to leave before church lets out, park away from the building!!
Yes, Michelle.... I am a "who cares" friend. Because I know I'll need the same courtesy sometime soon!!! But, a clean bathroom is appreciated!! LOL
We'll miss you Andrea... does that mean your mom is still coming?? I hope so!!!
NOW... I still have lots to do.... see you all SOON!!!

After the gathering, I'll be stopping at Hannaford's to pick up snacks on the way to Tilly's Rubber Room. If anyone needs me to pick up food for Tilly's let me know.
Woke up at 5:30 and finally got up at 6:30. Showered and dressed. Now for breakfast and hope to leave shortly after 8 to pick up Linda. See everyone in an hour or so!!
Geez Lisa....... 2.5 hours of sleep?? OUCH!!! I got 4.5 and I feel like I have a hangover!! WATER, aspirin, WATER!!! yep, I still remember those days!! LOL
Just wrapping my gift swap and I'm off. Well, I better get dressed too!!
safe travels!

We just got home. After going to Michael's, Joann's and Hobby Lobby, we went to Five Guys for burgers and LOTS of fries. Then we decided to go to Syracuse for the Irish Festival...its a long story...LOL. Stopped for gas and a couple of guys wanted to follow us to Boston...not sure why they thought we were going to Boston but...
Had a great time and thanks to everyone for all the nice projects. Can't wait to look over al the swaps. Thanks to Nancy and Meg for a fun day!!
Sad to miss a gathering.....originally had a football game with my band, but it was cancelled due to the road conditions, etc.
Things are starting to recede down here, and for the most part we were high and dry (a little seepage, but our old house got chest deep water) but we felt like we were on a island for awhile....couldn't really get anywhere. Got out and about last night and today to deliver some toiletries and necessities to local shelters....and wouldn't you know it, I got rear ended. Figures. SUV versus Altima - my SUV wins. A dent/crack in the bumper, couple of dents and dings around the bumper. No one was with me - but I am surprisingly sore. He didn't hit me going too fast I don't think, as it was stop and go traffic. *Sigh* It's always something.
We are hoping to get into school on Monday, but who knows. My district faired WAY better than others. All 4 Owego schools were affected, MacArthur Elementary in Binghamton had water 1/2 way up the windows, plus several others affected as well. I have a feeling we will be in while others may not be in session - but it gets complicated because of BOCES. Whatever.
On a happier note - had my nephew's 3rd birthday party today (so I couldn't have attended because of that anyway).
Hope you all had fun and that there is a date in the future that I can attend!
Oh, Kris, be careful with the injury. DH felt fine after our rear-end, but his back got progressively more sore over the next few days, and he ended up doing PT. The muscles can just keep getting tighter and tighter, plus he was very tense every time he got in the car. Make sure to take care of yourself!

Thanks, love the pun...LOL. Glad you liked the card I was a little worried it might be to twisted.

Your card I would consider to be mild! Just the right sense of humor! For this crew, I doubt there is much that is "too twisted"! I've thought up far, far worse but haven't thought them "usable"...as in who could I possibly give them to??? Your ICU card could actually be sent to someone in the hospital!
Just crawled out of bed. What a great day yesterday. Once I get moving I'll get out to my car so I can bring in my stuff to enjoy all my new treasures.
