Hello Everybody,
Just wanted to post a quick reminder for everybody to please double check the supply list on the first page of this post and make sure that you are bringing any listed items that you have. If there is something you don't have, that is fine, we will have some there for you to use, but if you do have it, you will likely be able to move along a bit quicker by using your own. We headed over to the church later on this afternoon to get things set up and am looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. Safe travels to everybody!!
Lauri

What a wonderful day stamping with a bunch of wonderful ladies!!! Thanks Lauri and all others who helped this day be a success!!! Hopefully (well kind of) I will still be in NY to come next year. ;-)
Melissa and I have arrived at home safely. The drive was very pretty, with gorgeous cloud formations and a beautiful sunset.
It was a wonderful day, meeting old friends and new, and practising our hobby together. Thanks so much Lauri and Lori and others for making this another great event, super make and takes, food accommodations, door prizes and draws. It was a fantastic day!

What a wonderful day yesterday, came home totally exhausted but very happy, The four of us went to Jo Anns, Michael and A C Moores shopping after the event, we all found items we could not live without in every store I arrived home around twenty of 12, the lightening on the drive home lit up the whole sky, thunder when we arrived home, so my dog had to sleep on our bed, not problem I will nap today.
Thank you Laurie and the girls for putting on a fabulous event, fun as always, we had a super table, loved all the shoeboxes.
Thank you everyone for bringing so many unwanted/unloved boxes, I hope you all find something that you can use in it.thank you to the girl who filled my box with stamps, I love it.
Thank you Nancy for once again being a fantastic driver.
Thank you everyone for making the day perfect.
Now back to bed....
Had a wonderful time attending my first Flower City Gathering. Loved the swaps, make'n'takes, food and all the great ladies I met. Met new friends and got a lot of great ideas. You ladies are really talented, especially those items in the 3D swap, and I look forward to seeing you next year as well as Stampapalooza in Buffalo. Thanks everyone!
Just wanted to say I had a great time with everyone yesterday. However, I did drop $12 probably on the bathroom floor Thank God Beth had some $$ for the thruway toll. Didn't realize I dropped the cash until it was time to pay the toll. Also, I am very disappointed that someone felt the need to take Laurie's punches. It happened to us at our Stampapalooza twice. Needless to say the make and takes will all be prepunched or you will be required to bring your own punches from now on. Comments were made that some shoeboxes had everything already prepunched or stamped - that is why! It's nice to think that someone accidentally took something - but the reality is they stole it. Shame on whoever ruins the event for others.
It is my understanding that some FOR SALE items went missing too. Maybe a search before anyone can leave will work... And now I don't feel so bad about keeping a short leash on my punches.

Unfortunately, we had several missing items at the end of our event yesterday. There was at least one garage sale item missing that I am aware of. It was located in the corner where the piano was and I believe it was a storage box of some sort. Two of my personal punches came up missing from the table where the box with the four 3x3 cards was being made. One of my personal punches was also ruined. I understand that things break, but it would have been nice for somebody to have brought it to my attention. A green Cricut bone folder also went missing, but I am happy to report that I received an email first thing this morning from the person's table mate saying that she found it in her purse - it must have fallen in there on accident and the person who found it is going to mail it back to it's owner. If anybody happens to find that any of the other missing items got mixed up in your belongings, please let me know so we can get things returned to the proper person. I would hate to think that anybody was stealing items yesterday and it would be VERY easy to get supplies confused in such tight quarters, so please do not feel bad if you happen to find something that does not belong to you. I will also add that even though we had at least 7 extra of each project kit prepared yesterday, we ended up short on two of our larger projects. Luckily, we had enough supplies on hand to prepare a few more (thank you Lori Newhouse for doing this!), but it would have been nice not to have to. There were also several more of the mini espresso cups gone then the number of people we had making projects. Not only that, but several of our project examples were missing as well. Next year, and from now on, we will be handing out kits to be sure we have enough for everybody. I am very saddened to have to go to this extreme, but it seems that it has now become a necessary thing.
We spend countless hours preparing for this event and although some things are pre-cut or punched, it really isn't feasible to pre-cut and punch every single thing, so hopefully this does not become a trend.
On the flip side of the topic of this email, somebody did find and larger adhesive dispenser somewhere between the room that we were in and the parking lot and turned it in to me. If you are missing a larger adhesive dispenser, please get in touch with me so I can get it back to you!
Thank ladies,
Lauri

Nancy,
This is exactly I do not ask others to share their punches - you should not feel bad about keeping a short leash on yours. I will say that we have used ink pads of people attending with no issues, but will not do this in the future as I would hate to have somebody else's supplies come up missing from our group project tables. I am still holding out hope that my punches just got confused with somebody else's stuff and that they will be returned - fingers crossed!! : )

Thank you, Lauri and all your helpers, for a nice day of stamping! I'm exhausted from all the fun of stamping and shopping and have been on the couch with my cat and iPad all day recovering! I'm just getting up from nap two!

Well Joanne, I think you can kiss that goodbye. Who ever took Lauries punches and Robins plastic containers I hope you enjoy them, just remember what goes around comes around, you are a horrible person
