Maybe you can beat me this time! I seem to be trying out your procrastination model of doing swaps. Going to work gets in the way of my crafting! And when it's getting dark earlier and earlier I just turn into a blob.
Good news: I'm home this morning working on my NVRs! Bad news: I'm waiting for a plumber to come and figure the problem with the plumbing. We had an overflow downstairs that also caused a little flood in the cellar when I took a shower upstairs yesterday morning. At least I am making progress on my swaps!
The plumber found and cleared the blockage (tree roots, I guess) between the house and septic tank. Cost wasn't too awful. If it happens again, though, it will be very costly because he says that tile pipe will need to be dug up and replaced because it's so old. I did the ultra cleaning of the floor that was involved and sprayed the floor in the cellar where it flooded with bleach in hopes of killing any mold that was thinking about growing down there. Indoor functioning plumbing is a wonderful thing!!! A load of laundry is done and the dishwasher is going. Let's hope we'e retired and living on beach before anything major needs to be done to this house!!!
Happy dance...my NVRs are finished and packed! I love being home on a weekday! Now to come up with ideas for everything else.
I made some progress last night, but still lots to do. Family is getting in the way darn it. Lunch today with my cousins, train ride tomorrow with the hubby, ATC club Monday, reunion meeting Tuesday, hockey game Wednesday. I AM IN TROUBLE! I did put in for Thursday off .. maybe that will save me.

This morning I started putting stuff back where it belongs...like my punches...so maybe I will find my gelli prints that I want to use on my ATCs and Rolodex swaps. But then I got sucked into my iPad...so now I'm going to turn it off and keep at this living room craft dumping ground before I meet friends for lunch.

I appreciate that .. everyone at work is sick and I am trying to avoid it.

I can see a little more of my living room floor now and I found enough pieces from an old shoebox that I can use for this shoebox! Now I'm trying to figure out how to make it different than the old shoebox. It's a fun challenge! My neighbor came over this afternoon and made cards while I was fiddling with my shoebox idea. Still no signs of my gelli prints that I want to use so more clearing out to do!
No Robin, it doesn't have to be a card. It just needs to be a paper project with the same requirements as the cards have..........good quality cardstock, at least one embellishment, all pieces cut and organized, a recipe (instructions), and not much more than 15 minutes to put together.

All done and packed. I can understand your problem with the shoebox. I had to toss out lots of ideas as not being practical for making in a 15-20 minute window.

Quiet at work so I assembled my Rolodex. I might have to add one more thing to them when I get home. I did cut and emboss one layer for my shoebox before I left for work this morning. I might have to emboss a few more pieces (thought I had enough from a previous shoebox) for another layer but, of course, I couldn't find the Manhattan Rose embossing folder this morning when I looked in the obvious places.
