I just got confirmation from First United. We are a GO for November 3rd. Mark your calendars! I'm going to post this on the CNY Stamps thread, too, in case anyone is still subscribed there but not here.
What's going on, Ladies? After a month of traveling, things are finally calming down enough that I can pop in here.
The storm was pretty violent here last night, but no permanent damage. Is there any events in this half of NY prior to the NY/NJ one? I read about the Hamburg one, but I think that is too far for me.

I am not sure where this summer is running off to but time is flying. Have not been here in a bit and have not stamped anything worth sharing either but my room is coming along. I think once fall hits I will have more time. We are going on our trip in 2 weeks and we are starting to get everything done for it. Have to get my SU catty out tonight to get my next order ready. There will definetly be a big shot in there Well, I am off. Just wanted to say hi. Hope everyone is well
WOW... there are several things going on in Oct. Cheryl and I were hoping to have another swap in October, but I don't think that it's going to be possible with everyone being committed to other swaps during the month.
Hmmmm... I'll have to put the thinking cap on.....

Does anyone have a suggestion for buying a lighthouse stamp? I'm searching for a good one....needs to be about 3 1/2"

I'm too cool for myself! I'm typing on the iPad while googling on the desktop computer! LOL!
Back in the fall, my hubby went out to buy some pants and came home with an Ipad (never figured out how that happened) -- so sometimes he borrows my computer and is on both the laptop and the Ipad.
With my long nails, I can't type on an Ipad/Ipod/Iphone so I stick to the things that I can use like my laptop.

Do any of you have wood blocks that you don't use just laying around that you'd want to get rid of? I'd love to find a bunch of blocks that I could use for a project or two. I'm interested in blocks around the 2x2 size (can be a little bigger or smaller - doesn't have to be square either).

Save the date to come make holiday cards for the troops - Sat., Oct. 13 from 9 a.m to 4 p.m - VFW in Stittville. It would be awesome if you prepped a showbox to mass assemble. There will be lots of Auxillary ladies to assemble and finish the cards. Who can come to help us?
