Kris, how was the Binghamton gathering yesterday? I really wanted to make it this year but hubby is having a bad time with a kidney stone and has had 2 "procedures" in the last month. I am sure I missed a fun time!

Okay..I am jumping in! I have had so many people tell me what a fantastic event this is I can't wait to experience it for myself. Registration and check will go right into the mail. That's the easy part...now to come up with a shoebox design and decide what other swap(s) I want to do... There's the challenge!! Looking forward to the stamping and shopping!! thanks so much.

Hey!! Arlene, I came back to LOTS of snow and am "holed up" at home again. The sunshine did knock the cough I had outta me so that's a good thing!! Tracy I hope Greg is feeling better. Kidney stones are NASTY I hear. YAY Cheryl, glad Lisa was looking out for you and hope you had as relaxing a time as I did while you were away. To the newbies, you will love this as much as the rest of us and you will be back as many years as you can and as long as Tracy holds out as our fearless leader. We have gone from 50-100 in 4 short years!!

Sorry I missed this post. It went really well. It was so great to see my "faux friends". It was nice and "intimate" at 20. I didn't feel left out of anything. We had a nice variety as well and excellent swaps to boot. Can't wait for Buffalo!
Subscribing ... I will most likely attend again this year, but will let you know for sure by Sunday. That will be after everyone at the shoe box swap "forces" me to join the land of the living again since I will be finishing grad school next week!
One thing though. I left the swap with only 12 cards. At jammie stamping I made more cards than the event. That was my dissapointment. Drive 15 hours round trip for 12 cards would have been depressing. Although I love hanging with my stamping friends!

You can always make up extra of your shoebox kit and trade them for projects you didn't do, too. That way you can get a larger variety of samples. I plan on having probably 15 extra kits to trade. If you take a picture of the projects that you are trading you should be able to complete them at home. It's a lot of fun to work on these kits after the event, once you've gotten home. It sort of extends things a little bit. KWIM?

If you do a varient of the project you showed me the other day, Ina you will be set.

That's a good idea Melissa. And, the kit could also have a color copy of the card as well.

I did exactly this last year! Worked out great.....so when I wanted to play at home but not necessarily come up with my own project, this was perfect to work on!
