Nancy, since my airfare cost me 10 bucks I am not going to complain about the rental fee. I think my sister forgot I was coming this weekend. I called her today and she didn't say anything about me coming. I guess I need to see her for a few minutes while I am in town or I will be in big trouble when she finds out. Thanks for the offer though.

OK....... I got alot done tonight, but not EVERYTHING for sure. Some DQ assembly will be done tomorrow at lunchtime.... AND ... I'll have to complete my SB tomorrow night along with packing. Off to bed so I can get up early to swim. I REALLY need that time to myself in the mornings.

I searched the thread and I don't think I saw the answer to a question I have, if so I am sorry. Anyway, for the shoebox swap, do we bag all the "kits" separately- so 20 baggies with the parts and instructions? or do we just keep all the items in the box but separate them by part? Sorry for the confusion.
Janette, you can do it either way. I am going to bag my parts up separately, (and mark each bag with a number) because one part is a long piece and would not fit into the baggies that I have. But in the past I have put all the pieces for one card/project into a bag for each person, so they would know exactly what belonged to that project.

I got up this morning to a flooded basement! Plugged in the sump pump (it's old so I don't like having it on all the time - naturally I forgot to plug it in last night!) and will leave it on all weekend. I'll be praying it doesn't blow up my house while I'm gone! I spent 1/2 hour pushing the water toward the sump...I'm sooo tired that I don't know if I'll be able to get up to watch the wedding. Thank God for dvr!

Wow! I know what that is like....it happened to me a few years back. I had to have the walls replaced and all the carpet. It was a mess. I lost a lot of photos too! Good thing all my stamping stuff was upstairs at the time. Now the rec. room has become a craft room, and I have a top of the line sump pump and a battery operated back up system now.
I hope you didn't lose anything important in your flood.

My basement will never be finished since the floor joists are so low - it's flooded before so I knew what to expect. Every thing down there is off the floor! At one time I thought to move my stamping stuff down there in the summer where it is much cooler than the upstairs bedroom - good thing I am a procrastinator!

The wind has left us minus several shingles, chimney cap and various other house parts. Considering the damaging tornadoes in the south, I am glad I have a house!!
Keep chipping away at your projects ladies!! I am right there with you, shoebox is designed but not cut. It will get done so breathe in and breathe out!
only project left for this is to package up my finished 3Ds.
other than that just house stuff. even allen said i'm way ahead of other past events!
now i could go to bed early (for me) time tonight-but we'll see if that happens
I just need to get out of work so I can go home and finish stamping stuff! Crazy day at work with lots of customers and trying to finish up before a day off! Had to detour to get to our building this morning because of flooding on the next block. Back to scoring and folding programs so I can leave. Scoring, folding...not as much fun as for stamping projects but it pays the bills!

I just finished putting "replacement" windows on my recipe cards. I shouldn't change my mind mid-stream but gald I did. All I have left to do is pack tomorrow night. I'm sure those traveling tomorrow will enjoy shopping your way to Buffalo. I'll be thinking about you while I'm WORKING.:p:p
Was all excited. Thought I was done. Forgot I signed up for SU Card Front and Tags. *SIGH* I'll pack supplies and worry about it during jammie stamping.

Diane and Karen are here and we stuffed the goodie bags, finished up our shoeboxes (for slackers Tracy and Karen), packed all the prizes and are getting to bed by 11. That is the earliest bedtime in 4 years!! Now lets hope we all get a good nights rest.
I won't be checking in here tomorrow. See you all there!
