My shoebox is finally ready to be baggied-up. Whew, I can't believe how long it took. Which makes me want to say a HUGE thank you to Tracy and all of the others who helped get this event together. I cannot EVEN imagine all of the time and effort that has gone into this big event. Thanks so much, see you sooooon!
Shoebox was finished and packed this afternoon. And I totally changed my mind on my 3-D...hoping it turns out ok! Had to pull the stamp positioner out for this one...my "winging it" wasn't working so good. LOL. :rolleyes:
I think my paint is dry now...back to work!
Some others have asked if they can do different projects for the am and pm groups and honestly, I do not care, just as long as you bring enough for your tables to make.
The elves got together on Monday and finished up the table favors and seating assignments. The to-do list is getting checked off.
Hubby is out of town for a few days and I have a wicked bad sore throat. All the post nasal dripping is making me crazy and giving me a bad stomach ache. Prayers please, for a quick recovery or your hostess is going to look/feel pretty sorry, lol.
Thought I would check in. I am in the land of no internet or cell phone. Remodeling the lake house we bought started 5 weeks ago and was supposed to take 3 weeks. I took a few days and went to Boston (11 hour drive with my two dogs) so I could get my things together for this event. I just booked my ticket last night to fly from North Carolina to Buffalo Friday night and leaving Sunday.
My fellow jammie stampers - I have made some extras and I am ready to hang with you Saturday night. Now I need to find a cheap rental car on hotwire and I am set. My husband is sad that I am using a free ticket to come see all you ladies and stamp instead of coming to see him.
Time to get back to work on the house. I want to be able to put down my floors next week, get the bathroom finished, and paint the last room!

I just have to cut the 3 Nancy brown (Thank you so much, Nancy! That brown strikes again, and is a lifesaver!) layers tonight, die cut crowns, and label all my stamps, ink pads, etc.

Tracy-Gargle with warm salt water as often as you can. It will help with the post nasal drip. I know it's gross but it works. Nasal saline works even better (neti pot)
Also- can you call me sometime today or tomorrow about setting up the cuttlebug display? 833-2776 or 866-2776. Thanks!
i'm soooooooooooo far behind! allen/dh found the time today to put in my 2 new dressers,into my craft room. so that means 80% of my "crap" is now in my 2 living rooms.on my couches-just piles everywhere. so that means i need to tidy up quickly. as i have to finish up my shoeboxes. who's idea was it to have 3 punches and 7 trips through the bigshot for each? i would like to ki!! her right now!
still need to sand & paint my 3Ds. guess i will be up late
oh and tomorrow allen has to go to PA to pick up his dad. allen's brother is handing him off for the weekend! oh joy
i also made some progress. shoeboxes are packaged. directions written.
i'm going to bake next. need to make my applesauce cake. already have banana bread in the freezer. my FIL is a snacker!

Andi...... do you want to try to do this with friends and NOT a rental? We'll have several cars around for the weekend. What are your ARR and DEP times?

AND ... I have LOTS still to do too. Hoping to finish my DQ tonight. I'm having paper cut for my shoebox at work and it didn't get done today. I may be doing it myself on the big cutter while the operator is at lunch tomorrow. My shoebox has LOTS pieces ... but the stamping is simple!!! I may just have to sleep in a bit tomorrow and skip the pool?? I really don't want to miss it. UGH.
