Okay, everyone -- what would you like to see as door prizes? CraftFancy is planning to give everyone a special, maybe a coupon or a Make N Take at the shop after our shoebox. So what kinds of Stampin' Up! products would you like to receive as our gift to you?
Whoo hoo!! We went to 2 pages on the forum. That either means that there is some good chatter, or that I am a bit too talkative! Let's hear from you--what kind of door prizes would be exciting and useful? Ribbon? Designer paper? Card stock/ink match-ups? Card-making kits? Let's hear it!
Is everyone ready? Do you have your card planned? Do you have all your supplies? Check your email, I will be sending more specific details to your personal email and here in the forum.
Happy Friday! Got another two payments today. So awesome. This means we will have a really well attended event. We are almost full, so if you are thinking about maybe coming, hurry and send in your check. If you wanted to bring a friend, act fast!
Check your email today, Saturday, Sept. 20. If you are registered and paid, but did not get an email from Dee, I have incorrect contact info for you. Please send me a personal message so I can correct it.
Anna, I would love to organize a mother/daughter event in the future, but I think we have to limit this one. Everyone has to be sure to treat all supplies and equipment with the utmost respect, since it is so easy to ruin a stamp pad or spill powder.
Anyone who would be interested in a mother/daughter event (or aunt/niece, adult/child) please email me! Sounds fun!
Dee
Thanks for keeping us posted, Dee! I'd vote for DP and ribbon for door prizes...12x12 sheets cut down work for me, so you get more mileage out of the packs!
I *still* don't know what we'll be making in my shoebox, but it will come to me one of these days
Okay, Ladies, I'm ordering door prizes and depositing checks today! If you registered ages ago, rest assured, I have been holding the checks to make one deposit and keep my accounting simple. Today's the day! This means we're getting close!
I've never, ever, been prepared for a shoebox swap a full week in advance, but I cut and assembled all my card kits this morning...woohoo! Just a few more days to wait, albeit impatiently
Hi,
I just saw this post and was wondering, how often do you girls get together to do this? I am near Schaumburg and would love to participate. I have never been to one but it sounds like fun.
If anything is coming up in the future, I would love to know about it.
Lori
Hi Lori, feel free to drop in on Saturday to see what it's all about! I will include you in my emails next time we do this. This is only our second shoebox, but I foresee more in the future, 2 maybe 3 times a year is about all we expect to schedule. Glad to have you on board!
3x3 !! Oh, yea, I forgot about that!
There are 6 yes votes and 3 maybe votes. If you are still interested, jump in! Yes: Irene, Gail, Christine, Arianna, Jamie and AnnaLisa. Maybe: Roberta, Paula and Pamela.
I had a great time yesterday...love the chilled out atmosphere of your swaps!! I'm off to the Bears game...
I was thinking that maybe we could do a "manly swap" sometime? Everyone always they don't have masculine cards!!
