It's time to be thinking about our Fall Gathering!

Date: Saturday October 9th, 2010
Location: Pebble Creek Clubhouse
Time: 10:00am - 5:00pm
Cost: $15.00
Card Theme: Card of Your Choice!
We will be limiting this swap to 16 swappers this time due to space and time constraints. This is open to any and all card makers in the NKY/Cincinnati area! First come, first served! I can't confirm you until I receive your registration and payment....fills quickly so get it in now!

And Beth, can you put Danielle in for the swap and 3D. If she can't make it I'll take her card packets and 3D and I'll pick up a card packet from each for her and her 3D items. Since we really won't know if she'll be there in person or not...

Well, we are hosting a TaeKwonDo tournament that day (happens about once every 2 years) and my hubby is competing. The black belts go early in the morning so I need to talk to him about the schedule. I feel I need to be there to support him but if he is done in time, I may be able to stamp, too. (I really don't need to be there the rest of the day to watch him judge other students.) ;)
I may have to bring Hunter with me to stamping, not sure if he wants to stay with Dad and be bored or stay with me and be bored.

Will you be ordering more treat/candy bags? If not may be I can see if the swap gals are interested in placing an order. Also, I'm a proud ATG owner now, I know you recently placed an order for adhesive. Any idea when you will be reordering?
In the event Beth won't be ordering the bags or adhesive anytime soon, anyone else intersted? I could bring the items to the October swap.

Yes, I was gonna order more ATG tape....I'll get the totals out to everyone. Can't remember the price off-hand.

Its me Danielle, I'm using mom's hehe :] I believe that I am going to be able to join everyone at the swap, I asked for the day off and I think it's going to be alright! It was just confusing because of the equestrian (sp) games going on :] I will know for sure if I am going when it gets closer to the date :]

Hey there everyone ~ I just wanted to clarify Danielle's post....
Even if she is not coming I will pick up a card packet and her 3D and trick or treats. I'm sure that she will be there, but asking in advance not only guarantee's you'll get the day off - sometimes it also means that the note you left get's lost.
I can't wait. Danielle and I were "planning" her 3D item all day. Let's say that she's purchased enough stuff to make 100 3D items, she just needs to narrow it down now to what she wants to do...

Went to M's yesterday & picked up some of the items to make my 3D items.
I don't see anyone feeling particuarly special with my 3D but I do hope they're useful, lol.
Beth As for which treat bags, was thinking the small ones which hold the M&M's. Is there another size which you prefer/like to use? Thought it would be fun to get an order placed for anyone wanting in on those. I will gladly place the order. As for the tape you will have to lead me through this since my gun is new. I have the Scotch Pink ATG. But I can't find a # on it anywhere. The tape which came with it is Scotch (o course) 0.25"x 36 yards. Do I need to find out for more than or does 1/4" cover it?

Good news! Hubby got a job! Woohoo! It was one he interviewed for a month ago. When he didn't hear anything from them after two weeks, he just figured he didn't get the job. They called Friday and offered him the job, at more money than he'd been told at the interview. Yippeee! I was so happy and excited, all I could do was hug him and cry.
Oh I'm so glad for you both! It's such an awful feeling. I know I've been trying since June with no luck. And when they don't call you back and just keep you waiting you think that you've been passed over again.

The ATG tape that we order in bulk should fit your gun.

YIKES! The swap in creeping up on me and I haven't done a thing. I'm normally ahead of the game, but not this time. A new scrapbook store just opened down the street. I'm going to go their for inspiration...wish me luck
Pat I know what you mean. Danielle keeps asking "what kind of card are you making?" or "what's your treat?" or "what food...." My goodness, I don't know!!
I do know that I want to make a Halloween card ~ it's my favorite holiday to make cards for and I'm not sure that I'll be making too many to send out this year.

Beth- I just sent you pay pal. Please sign me up! Sorry I have been MIA. Things have been crazy. My dad has pancreatic cancer and is getting worse, hospice is involved and I have been helping as much as I can. With that being said, I will do the treats for each lady but will opt out of the 3D swap this time. I plan on making a birthday card of some sort, I know I could always use more of those!
