We’re so excited that we’re only a few days away from the 8th NEPA Stamp & Swap! In addition to the shoebox projects, there are 5 swaps, a gift swap game & lots of door prizes…oh & tons of food!
Just a few reminders:
We’ll be ready for everyone by 9:00am so you have time to set-up & chat before the start time at 9:45am
There will be a pretty package at your spot but DO NOT open it!
Please write clear instructions for your shoebox; during introductions only explain what’s NOT in the instructions. If your project has an intricate die, please make a note on your instructions if it works with the metal cutting plate that will be available. If you need your instructions printed, please email to me by noon Friday & I’ll bring them Saturday.
Pack lots of your favorite adhesive.
Bring something to put your finished shoebox projects & swap(s) in.
Label your tools, supplies, etc.
If you’re joining in the gift swap, don’t forget to wrap it up pretty. Put your name on the inside but DON’T put it on the outside. Hold it until the game.
Bottled water will be available but if you want something else B.Y.O.D.
Don’t forget your camera!
This day will be a lot of fun but as you work on the projects, consider doing the part(s) of the projects that have to be done at the event (stamping, embossing & die cutting), take a photo of the sample then assemble later during the event or at home. Towards the end, it may be necessary to double up on the projects. If you’re done, considering offer help to anyone who may be behind. This may help everyone get through all the projects.
I think this should be my last communication but I’m not promising anything…LOL.
Looks like the weather will be nice on Saturday so safe travels to everyone!!
‘‘Twas the night before the stamp & swap
and all through the group,
we’re ready to play
and eat Gayla’s soup.
Our projects are packed
with tender and care,
in hopes that we can find all our supplies
when we get there.
Yesterday was wonderful & thanks to everyone for coming. All the projects were beautiful & the food was delicious but the best part of the day was sharing the love of our craft & friendship with everyone!.
We are already talking about next year!! We'll probably have the date & theme out by the end of the year (if not sooner)!
I meant to post about our spectacular day last week, but time got away from me. Thank you all for the lovely shoeboxes and swaps.
I just love being in a room with ladies that like to do the same thing I do. It’s so much fun to laugh, create and eat, of course, with you all. Thank you for a wonderful day ❤️
