You are all invited to attend the Mount Dora Shoe Box Swap on Saturday April 12th at 10 am - 1 pm. The Library room can only hold 12 people so I am accepting sign ups now. You will need to design a card sample or project and make enough kits for everyone who comes to make one. Please have all your supplies in a box so that everything is there to make your card or project. I will need every one to please supply your own adhesive and basic stamping supplies. Please bring a bag lunch and beverage as we can eat in the room. We plan on having lots of stamping fun and being able to talk stamping with other stamp addicts and friends. Most people just don't understand our addiction, poor things. LOL!!!
I will post the final number for the amount of swap packets everyone needs to bring but please make 2 extra in case with have last minute attendees. I will also demonstrate how to make a Flip Book Album. Please bring 3 sheets of 12 x 12 card stock (2 of one color and 1 coordinating color), Sticky Strip and 26" 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon. I am sooooo sorry to hear about your surgery, but hope you are feeling more better since your tuneup! Posted to Laene's thread that even if the three remaining participants to the Melbourne swap were going to change venues and come to Mt. Dora, it's not happening this month at all. Oh, well. It gives us another month to get ready (did I say I wasn't ready? ;)) and to get more ladies interested in coming to the swap. :cool:
I won't be doing the little 2, 5, 7, 11 boxes since I'm tired of them :rolleyes: and learned something new at my local stamp club's meeting a few weeks ago. It's a darling jacket card, learned thanks to Pat.
Can't wait to finally learn the little album Vivian is going to show us. There's a supply list of stuff to bring, so don't forget!
Hey, Miss Vivian. Don't you think it's about time to close this puppy? I'm cutting cardstock and need to know the total. 12 will be a squeaker for me as I've already run out of one of my Berry Bliss patterns. If Michelle can't come, could we find out soon so we have a firm total? :rolleyes:

What's wrong with rolling my eyes? :rolleyes: It's a time-honored tradition. Hope you enjoy your time next Saturday. You can always stamp another day. Looks like we'll have ten with Janice. :cool: So, I'll have one packet to spare! :-D
I just wanted to let everyone know that the Mount Dora Shoebox swap for May 10th is full. We have 12 ladies coming for this event at 10AM - 1:30 PM at the Mount Dora Library. Please be prompt so we can start right away with our swaps. Please keep the cards or projects fairly simple since we have a large number of participants. Be sure to have packets ready to hand out with precut cardstock with written instuctions and everything to make your project in your box. Bring a bag lunch and beverage and a snack to share. If you want to make the Flipbook Album bring the items listed in the first post. I hope to see all of you soon and we will have a fun time.
Had a great time, too, but we need to take a bit of time to get to know each other next time. Name tags would be good. I'd try Dell's cleaner, too, but my Ultra-Clean is da bomb when it comes to getting anything off a stamp. See you all next month, I hope. :cool:
