Yay! I got the word back. I officially get to go to the Mingle. I'm so excited to get to meet you guys!
(Okay, I'm really going to bed now. Really!)

Got some holiday ca$h? Then register for the Mingle! It's a lot of fun -- newbies won't feel like newbies for more than oh, say about 1 second :-D. Only a few spots left!
OK, I just thought of a Mingle name , it came to me while making my laundry soap today. Green Queen Mingler. I just checked out sylvia's gallery and seen some pics of some Minglers so now I have some more faces to go with names.

Carrie....
There are quite a few photo's of the Michigan Mingler get-togethers....
Here's one that took place Oct, 2009....keyword MMM1009 (for Michigan Mini Mingler, Oct, 2009)
I heard a *rumor* that two more registrations might be coming in...that would leave only 5 spots left! If you been thinking about coming -- don't delay, you'll be sorry you missed it!
Has there been any thought to a "Garage Sale" section at the mingle?
Have some stamps that I would love to go to a good home.
I'm not sure if there will be room for a designated table for this. We will see where we end up with registration. If there isn't room in the event room, we could go to people's hotel rooms for a garage sale crawl on Friday evening or something.
Bump, and weren't the Copic from Jo's online? Not the best price but it seems that lots of online folks are on the bandwagon. I'm saving my money for a BIG set before class. That should motivate me to keep going to work. If only I could decide between Sketch and Ciaos, so many different opinions there. Still 7 spots?
Huntwoman (Lisa?) - not sure if it helps. Ciao are cheaper and slightly smaller pens that come in fewer ink colors, but the nibs are the same in both and the inks blend together. I have some Ciao and some Sketch and I mix them interchangeably. I got Sketch because HL sells a small assortment of colors and I wanted to try a couple out before buying a bunch. I then got Ciao because they're cheaper and I ordered a batch online. Since they are refillable, I don't see a reason to buy the larger markers any more, unless the color I want isn't available in a Ciao. (Which so far hasn't happened!)

For those of you near Bay City - I have it on good authority that Di's Ink Stamp 'n Crafts in downtown Bay City is going to start carrying the sketch markers soon... Di said that she won't be marking them up to "full price" either, because she wants them to be more affordable.
I know, I know... you can get them at HL any day or online any time, but honestly, I would rather support a local/downtown merchant than a chain store whenever possible.
