Funny, yet tragically true! I wonder what the maximum dose is? I introduced a friend to stamping and she now has an awesome craft room and tons of stuff. I feel like the pusher that gave the first dose free. There are worse addictions. Good luck and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to those of us waiting on pins and needles to see if we will be part of the fun this year. Next time I'll sign up the first day...

Yay we're in. I call my SU demonstrator my pusher as well, haha. My husband recently came up in my stampin' room and looked around and asked "how much you think you have spent in here?, I said 'I didn't want to know', and he knows how much I enjoy it so not a problem, like you said "there are worse" things. I feel I make people happy when I make them a card or item, so to me there is no better addiction.

If anyone was under the impression that only KING rooms were left -- that is not the case as of today's date. There are still some DOUBLE rooms left.
If you have any problem getting the type of room you'd like when you go to book, please, PLEASE contact me so I contact my hotel contact and try to resolve the situation.
Don't let the type of room supposedly available deter you from attending this amazing event!
Just filled out my registration, going in the mail tomorrow, hopefully it arrives in time to make the cut. I wish I'd of had time to check my PM here sooner. This will be my first one and I'm kinda nervous and excited at the same time.

I was in the same spot 2 weeks ago. I was on pins and needles hoping to get a spot. It was tough to wait to hear the news. Now I'm confirmed and nothing but excited. It sounds like there will be plenty of us newbies floating around. Hope they don't haze us! I'm sending a wish for speedy delivery for your registration.

Jenn - no you don't have to stay in the hotel, last year we had folks come from home or friends, it hotel just makes it easier to leave any supplies so you don't have to carry them in and out of the car each day ;)
However we totally get saving money too! Join us however you can
DH is so sweet! He just wrote out the check for me to send in tomorrow and told me Merry Christmas! I will have it all in the mail tomorrow morning.

Just a reminder that there is a swap for ATC cards for the MINGLE.
So far there are only 2 of us signed up. It would be ever so much fun if a few more would take that challenge!
If you can make cards---you can do ATC's---in any medium---as long as it the size of a playing card.

What's the ATC? I've sent my reg in this week, if accepted I might join this. I've been waiting to really read about all that's happening until I'm accepted b/c I didn't want to know what I was missing if I didn't get accepted. Not to mention I'm in the middle of packing, moving, cleaning and organizing my house into my DBF's house, it's a chore, he's SO much stuff so I'm making room!
I haven't looked at the swaps yet, either. I wanted to be sure that Tracy got my payment before she ran out of seats first, but I would happily do an ATC swap if I get in.

They are the size of a regular playing card 2 1/2 by 3 1/2. They can be done in any medium you like--using paper, paint,chalks, embellisments, or even digital.
I have included one that is digital and one that I have painted with acrylic paints (flower one)
You are the artist and it is your creation the only requirements are the size, and that it is not flimsy--meaning that is should be as firm as a card from a deck of playing cards. They are never sold, just traded.
