I am hoping to come, just trying to find someone to drive to me. Not sure if I can fly with taking the hyperbaric treatments, going to ask doctor tomorrow. Will let you know.
Donna, would you maybe like to demo how to carve stamps? Doesn't have to be a huge thing, just maybe tips of how to get started, etc. Do you have any works in progress that you could show us to give us an idea of process? It's totally up to you- no pressure.
Oh, I would love to show how to carve, thanks so much for asking. I love doing it, and there are people much better than me at it, but I just enjoy doing it anyway.
Well guys will see what I can come up with, still looking for a driver, too expensive to fly, so will not give up hope until Saturday morning, lol. Would make my hubby bring me, but it is the first weekend of Bow Hunting season, so that is a BIG NO!!!! Still have a couple of people that I am still working on, don't count me out yet.
About 2 1/2 hours, I am really wanting to come, so will keep working on it. Not sure if I could drive by myself or not, but if I do try it, will come up Friday and get a room so that I can rest. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!
I am waiting on an order to come so I can cut the remaining ribbon pieces & then I am finished with my shoebox swap. YIPPEE!!! I believe Taryn is playing softball this weekend "BIG REGIONAL TOURNAMENT" but if she doesn't she wants to join us. Hopefully we will know for sure tomorrow or by weeks end. That would make me very happy!!!
While watching the race, I am getting my older card fronts around so I can mount them while I have the extra/spare time to get that kind of thing done.
I did ask my daughter if she wanted to come, since she's stamped with me for years and does. I made her a swap and I'm putting together a dirty stamper gift for her too- she's so excited!
I got my name on everything last night (even the tiny crochet hook--initials only) and put the lid on my shoebox. All I have left to do is to wrap my Dirty Stamper gift. I absolutely cannot wait! This is going to be so much fun!

I might have found someone to come with me, not holding my breath yet, but things are looking a little brighter. She is brand new to stamping, but has come to some of my stamp camps and is so willing to learn. I think we will both have a really good time.
Quick question, can I bring my rolling chair (desk chair) since I will have a hard time sitting in a regular chair? Also, do we need to bring some snacks, think I saw that we could, but just wanted to make sure.
YAY Jamie!! Go ahead and bring your chair, that's fine. We may all be jealous of you by the end of the day!! lol
No, you don't have to bring a snack, I just left it open if people wanted to bring something to share.
I have a few newbies coming as well- I even had to make their shoebox swaps for them- but I know they'll enjoy themselves. I've told my newbies not to worry if they don't get how to do something, just ask whoever. I figure I've never ran into a stamper who wouldn't help out another!! We all love our craft, don't we?!?

I am going to say we'll be right at 26. I had 2 ladies who didn't respond to me, and 2 others who weren't sure if they were going to make it or not, so I'm not counting them, but I am counting Jamie and her friend. I do have one lady who may bring her sister- she's to let me know by Thursday, that would be the only change. And I'm not officially counting her yet, as I don't know if she'll be doing the swap. I will let ya know as soon as I know.

Hey, are we supposed to have our names on our boxes, and if so, where? On the inside of the box? On the outside of the box? Just on the written instructions?
