Some of you may remember that we talked about submitting our SBS cards to the magazine Just Cards as a mass project. If you want to do that, I'm willing to mail them but here's what you have to provide with your card:
Clearly label each piece submitted with your name, address, phone number and/or email address. Stamped artwork must include proper stamp/product credits. Include detailed step-by-step instructions, preferably typed in Times New Roman.
I found that I had to do a separate set of instructions for this submission since the reader needs to know what size the card is, etc. I also added the product credits at the end of the appropriate instruction except for one general line at the end that states "All CS and DSP from Stampin' Up."
Just give me your card on Saturday if you want me to submit it.

I don't think we're ready to do the "group" submission yet. Amanda...isn't there more to it for the group submission?
Pete, I have one or two individual cards ready to submit. I'll try to remember to bring them to you.
OK, my card is designed, stamped, and cut, just need to put it together for my sample (I'm looking for my distressing tool before I put it together.) Still need to cut all the papers and make my kits and type up directions and then I'll be ready...hey, it's only Tuesday- no problem...
Going out on the bikes tomorrow in search of the sunflower fields...wish us luck. We didn't find them last year.
Sample is made, papers are cut. Not thrilled with my card but it is what it is...Just gotta make up my kits and pack my bag and I'll be ready! I'm SO looking forward to this!
I've started on my card! Have no fear, I'll be ready by Sat. morning! I may be up half the night tomorrow but I'll be ready! I am so looking forward to spending the day stamping with everyone!
Finally ready with my card. It's designed, cut, and bagged and directions are typed. One thing to check off my to do list. Yeah! Tonight I'll fix the pretzel salad and wrap prizes for a game. And don't worry - this game isn't as bad as the one at the big shot swap. You won't have to think real hard!! LOL
After a mentally and physically draining week, I'm so ready for some girl time with my peeps. Have to get thru a test at 4:00 and then I can let out a huge sigh of relief. Jane, I definitely need those hugs tomorrow. If you were closer, I would have grabbed one Monday night.
Make sure if you are bringing something that needs to be kept cold that you bring it in a cooler or on ice. We won't have the frig like we normally do.
And most of all, come ready for some good ol' belly laughs. You never know what will come out of the mouths of stampers. ROFL!!

Im ready I thought. Then I saw the comments about the directions. Uh oh. Gotta get busy.
See you all tomorrow.
Jane, I know you are already sitting outside the gym.
Amanda,
I will bring the case of water, iced tea (sweet)and cooler of ice. I'm so sorry I didn't sign up for anything...my brain just doesn't work anymore. You have enough to bring without a case of water added to the list. If there is anything else I can bring let me know, the food list looks pretty balanced.

Thanks! That's one less thing I gotta cart over.

Another successful swap. had a great time and some really great cards. Thanks guys for all your hard work tomake this work so well. Sorry for all the extra work.
Thank you so much Amanda and Cindy for a wonderful swap! I too am very grateful for all the hard work you ladies put into making these swaps such a success! Even without a kitchen I think it went very well today but I know how much of a pain it was to go through to make everything run so smoothly.
As always it was a great swap! Loved all of the cards! Glad Gloria was able to stop by and hang out with us! Thanks to our fabulolus hostesses for all their work! (And I don't know where the poem came from that you used for the left-right game but I loved it!)
Thanks Amanda & Cindy for a wonderful day. It's always fun & relaxing to get together & stamp & laugh & eat! I loved all of the cards & my Christmas shirt prize!

Thanks to Amanda and Cindy. I know the havoc that the change of venue cost you both but I think it turned out perfect. It couldn't have been better. I think we could have fun anywhere. Vera, thank you for the recipe for the salad. I must say, it does give one gas! (Laughing here....) Gloria, so glad you could come. The cards were all wonderful and the time together was, as always, very special. So much talent in one room! Everyone that had Christmas stuff.....amazing. Paula, I loved it that you wore it all day and thought someone was playing a joke on you. I totally forgot about it and enjoyed what everyone had. Pins from the hubs on Theresa? Great. Man-n-cheese, brownies.....sigh........................
 Just wonderful to get with everyone.

Such a fun day. Thank goodness Gloria came or I would still be sitting there trying to put cards together. Going to re-enjoy the cards today. Thanks everyone for a great time.
Special thanks to Amanda and Cindy for all their hard work in putting this SBS together, especially with the change in venue. I had a great time and apologize if you had a difficult time putting my card together. It might have been a PITA (more for me than you) but I think you are all up for the challenge, so I try to challenge you. Plus we can all say that we went to the gym on Saturday! No one outside our group needs to know the real story, lol.

Pete, as long as I followed the directions step by step I didn't have any problems with your card and I absolutely loved it! Now I NEED that window die with the shutters!
Sigh, I loved it and wish I could have a do-over today.
I could so not hostess like the two Queens do. I am so not up to those challenges and particularly with all the changes and lips along the way. Cindy and Amanda, you did a marvelous job. Can I hire you to organize my stamp center? Jeez, I had a whole box of stamps I found, all packed up and I made the mistake of going through it and ended up pulling three sets back out. What is wrong with me????? I pulled out the bird set that Vera used. Now, I have to say, I hated parting with it but decided I didn't use it enough. But after making Vera's card............... Let's just say, I am the special needs one that needs an intervention!;)

Thanks ladies for making it another great swap! Co-hosting with Amanda is always so much fun and even the kink she had to deal with seemed to work out well. No one can rain on our parade! LOL Great cards, food, prizes, and laughter all around. Such a creative group of ladies!

Pete, your card was beautiful. I put it together on Sunday...then I ordered the window die and shutters...

And, of course, there are screen doors and front doors and probably more similar ones. I think they are such cool dies. My card was outside looking in. I can picture a holiday card (like Jane's was) from the inside looking out with snow, a snowman and a tree.
I love those dies. I have 3 window dies but havent used them yet. I also pictured a snowman from inside or maybe a puddle of water by a fire inside???? I have to take a closer look, will probably need shutter dies too.
I do not need any more dies....I do not need any more dies....I do not need any more dies....I do not need....oh wait....Jane/Pete...what was the name of that window die???
