I know Andrea and Lisa have one scheduled in Kingsville on May 15. They are regulars at my swaps and also hosted a swap last October. If you do one in May, how about going with a NVR swap instead of strictly SU to change them up a bit?
THAT would be f-u-n!! Granted III don't own anything else - LOL - but I know lots of the ladies have some really neat stamps by other companies.

I really like that idea, Cindy!!! I have so many cute non-SU stamps I'd love to use!!
kathy thank you for hosting the swap I enjoyed myself and had a very good time sitting and talking with people. Also the food and card were great! The idea of back to back swaps sounds great!
I think I need that power nap also (LOL) and I know it was the brownies.
I have to say Thank you to all of you ladies for a wonderful event. An event is nothing without great people attending.
What a great day. I even had fun which is sometimes not easy hosting the event.
Thank you all for the great food, lots of laughs and wonderful cards.
And can I also say WOW on how you supported my travel size drive for the Ronald McDonald House in DC. I now have a box full and part of a bag with 224 travel size items, 23 full size items and 76 samples size items. I thought I might have come home with maybe 100 items but you all out did yourselves. On behalf of the RMHC of Washington, DC I thank you again for your generous donations. I'll be taking the items down sometime in March.
I have Saturday May 22 set aside as an event date at the firehall and I'm not sure if I want to try an all day crop or just another shoebox swap since I do already have one scheduled for June. Let me know what you think about having 2 back to back in Laurel.
Inky Hugs,
Kathy,
It wouldn't hurt my feelings to have another SBS in May! Having 2 back to back in Laurel works for me!
Glad you all had a great time yesterday! I was thinking of you and wishing I was there stamping, eating and laughing instead of doing income tax returns!
I think I am available for May 22 and would love the chance to attend a SBS!

Kathy, Wow what a wonderful time we had on Saturday. The food, the cards and seeing all the awesome stampers again made my day. I think I laughed all day. I appreciate all your hard work. I'll be in Ocean City at the Stamping By the Sea Convention in May so I hope to see you in June. Thanks also for the ladies who gave out the ribbon and the stamp cases, I love freebies.

Thanks for all the work you put into making such a great event. Fun was had by all. The cards were great. I gave one away yesterday and got 2 thumbs up from the crowd. The amount of donations for the Ronald McDonald house was fabulous. I won't be able to attend in May I will be at the Stamp Convention in Ocean City with Donna. Hope to make it in June.

Mary it was great getting to know you and your wonderful friend Tracey! Look forward to see you all again. Hope your father is going okay.
At the swap last Saturday someone gave me a green mug with M & M's in it. I am pretty sure I said "Thank You" but wanted to thank them again, but now I can't remember who gave them to me. So, to the very nice person who gave me this gift I want to say THANK YOU again.
Inky Hugs,
Kathy

Hi ladies - some of you had asked for the recipe for the banana choc chip cake, and I promised I would post. Sorry for the delay, but here you go:
Banana Chocolate Chip Breakfast Cake
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly mist a 13x9 inch metal cake pan with vegetable oil spray, then dust with flour, shaking off excess.
Ingredients:
1 cup mashed bananas (2-3 very ripe bananas)
1 package plain yellow or vanilla cake mix
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sour cream
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 cup mini chocolate chips
3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
powdered sugar, for dusting
Place the mashed bananas, cake mix, sugar, oil, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl and beat with mixer on low speed until the ingredients are incorporated, 30 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with rubber spatula. Then beat on medium speed until the mixture lightens and is smooth, about 1 1/2 minutes, scraping sides of bowl if needed. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with rubber spatula. Scatter the pecans evenly over the top; place cake in preheated oven.
Bake until cake is deeply golden brown and top springs back when lightly pressed with finger, 43-48 minutes. Remove cake from oven and immediately sift powdered sugar on top. Let cake cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting.
I finally posted my pictures of the cards on my blog:http://www.inkchatter.com
I think I might be missing one. If I am and you have a picture of it, please send it to me and I'll add it to the post.
