Welcome Stacy! I'm glad you'll be joining us! You asked about the cider mill farm that I had posted about previously. Here is a link to their information, apparently they don't have their own website but this tells you where they are and what they offer:
Since the Glen Burnie one moved out of their former location I like the Bowie one much better. The old GB store was much, much bigger, they seem to be crammed into their new location and they don't have a lot of the items they had in the old store. I overheard a store clerk telling a customer that they have trailerloads of stock sitting out back with nowhere to put it.
I've never been to the one in Rockville but I understand it's the absolute best one in the state!
Oh I see how it is Kathi...you have been holding out on us.lol

I foresee a road trip in my future =) Thanks everyone for the input! I noticed in the Glen Burnie one seemed cramped but I did not know they used to be in a bigger store.
Hey, all you Ft. Meade area girls...I had forgotten about this place, but my kindergarten classes went here to the pumpkin patch today, they have a petting zoo and the place is huge...it's right off of Rt. 175 in the Jessup area...here's the link if you're interested: http://www.greenmeadowsevents.com/gm/jessup.htm

I need to get busy cleaning the stamping pit since people are coming over on the 17th to stamp...ugh. I have such a mess.
I don't think anyone's stamping area is as messy as mine!!! The more I stamp, the worse it gets! I really need to get it straightened up and get into the habit of putting things away when I'm done with them! Well, they say a messy desk is the sign of a great mind...wonder what a messy ROOM means???

Clean up as I go...that would suck the fun right out of stamping.
Well if anyone needs incentive to keep their stampin' space clean let me know and I will lend you 20 tiny fingers that like to ink-ink-ink and play with primas and ribbon. EVERYTHING is now in locked cabinets. But that really hinders me from having half made cards, or stamping when I only have a few minutes.

Quite often, I only have about a 4.25 x 5.5 space with which to work **blushing**

I have my own 20 little fingers! They have the SU kids pads, their own cheapo markers and their own stamps... and I barely even let them use them! I put away some Hanna Montana stamps for my daughter for Christmas and I doubt she will use them as often as I do **hanging head in shame**
either that or freak her out with our weirdness....
welp, made my card today. only took about ten prototypes before I was happy. and wonder of wonders.. there is RIBBON!!! Me, the ribbon-phobic....
Hi all,
I am not sure if there is a decent JoAnn/s by you, but they have embellishments at 60% off for the holiday weekend. So needless to say, I got my door prize stuff, no I just need to alter it.;)

Okay, I'm all tuckered out...we went down to Ocean City for the day to the classic car show. Had perfect weather!! Looked at all the cars (they filled the inlet- 1,500 cars)...walked the boardwalk (lots of new little shops) and found a little shop in the village at the end of the boardwalk that sold designer purses and accessories. I was looking for a small flat kind of purse with a long strap to wear across the body for a cruise we're taking next year. I found exactly what I was looking for at this little shop- on sale for $40 then got an additional 25% off, so I got a Coach purse for $30!! I looked online at the Coach website and found one similar selling for $138. I know the one I got is last year's (or maybe the year before!) model, but it's perfect for my cruise! We ate a lot, bought fudge from Candy Kitchen and Fisher's Popcorn...so my diet is shot to pieces! Now to go stamp and rest up!

Did you ride the bikes down? The weather sure has been gorgeous for riding! I went out today and rode past your street and thought about stopping by but didn't want to just show up un-announced and I thought you guys were probably out riding anyway! It was great to be out on the bike again but it's not as much fun riding alone! That darn husband of mine better get another bike soon!
Sounds like you got a great deal! Where are you cruising to?

Uh...BRIDGE...so, no, we didn't ride the bikes down. One of these days I'll get the nerve to ride across that bad boy! It was a perfect weekend, though!! Glad you were able to get out on your bike. DH went out yesterday for a couple of hours, I stayed home...after all that walking on Saturday my knee was killing me. So, I stamped instead.
We're cruising to New England and Canada. It'll be our first cruise and I can hardly wait!
