I would love to come, but my daughter is due with her baby at that time. It is so far for me to come, so I'll have wait until another time. I would love to do one here in St. George.
I thought it might be a nice gesture if we all gave one of our swap projects to my sisters to say thanks for letting us use her clubhouse. What do you all think about that?
It would mean you would bring the supplies for 16 people to make your project and then bring 2 completed projects, one to show as a sample and one for my sister.
What does everyone think?

The last time we did it at Centerville I think there was 9 and that was fun too! I am sad they cannot attend but we will just have to make it a good day! ;) Missi- Do you know if they are going to opt out of the card swap too??
YuRee, they didn't say specifically that they were dropping out of the card swap, but I'm assuming they are.
As for food. we have 3 main dishes, 2 desserts, 1 salad, 1 snack, drinks and plates, utensils,etc. 4 gals haven't specified what they'll bring, so if you haven't signed up for food yet, think about salads and snacks.
Missi- I am glad to hear that I am not the only one still "thinking" about their projects. I had 3 ideas but I shot them all down so I am hoping to get to work on it Sunday when I have "me" time.

Ok so I guess most either didn't see my post about updating a picture into your avatar or are not interested.. :(
Assuming that you just didn't see that post I am going to extend the deadline to have the picture updated by Friday April 25th to be entered into a drawing. I am pretty sure it is going to be a GOOD one for just about anyone sooo IF you want to participate just upload a picture of you into your avatar so it will help us when we get together to know names and faces..
I was coming online to say that I am excited that I finally figured out my swap card and am cutting pieces tonight and assembling baggies. I then just have to figure out everything else that I am committed to.
I cannot believe we only have 2 weeks, I better get my little (or big as the case may be) butt in gear!!
I went to the scrapbook expo this weekend and got lots of fun stuff I'm gonna use on my cards, can't wait to try it all out!!
Now I just have to decide how I'm gonna use it :rolleyes:

Are we still gonna bring an extra couple of swaps for the sisters condo? I think that would be fun and a good thing especially since the numbers have dropped shouldn't be a burden on anyone!!
Melissa- I will try hard to remember you can't have dairy so that you can eat a little bit of what I bring. Now I just have to think of what I am going to bring. I think I am leaning toward fried rice...

I hate having "issues" with food. I'd love to just show up and have anything and everything--especially dairy!!

I'm making a list to make sure I have everything straight for our swap now. I don't have either my shoebox or the other swap designed yet. But I have lots of good ideas from last weekend.
My parents are going to be here for a week and a half--they get here tomorrow night. I need to get the house in order. :shock: Getting a bit crazy!

Well, it's done now! All I have to do is get the cardstock cut & package it up. :mrgreen:
Neither of my swaps are actual cards. One is a mini treat holder (that I saw on Beate's blog) & one is a gift card holder (that I learned in SoCal). I hope you like them. I've gotta go buy some chocolate bars to put in the mini treat holders. :-D
Missi.. We have 8 days left! I too have got things for the swap all cut out but have to finish a couple things with it and then have the pieces for the additional swap all over my stamp table that I just need to just assemble. Then a door prize and other stuff still need to be made. YIKES. AND I have to finish the 250 wedding invites that I am making... Oh my.. My poor house is going to get neglected next week!
Guess I better get started on this! I have a ton of ideas, just need to get cutting!
Sheree, Julie I, and Tricia - How about we meet at the 1600 North exit in Orem in the Bowen & Leavitt parking lot? I figured that's about equal distance for us all to meet up.
