Erin, we are not full! The more the merrier. We had 20+ at the first one and it was so much fun. So, I signed you up to come Let me know what you would like to bring.
We won't finialize numbers for the swap until about 3 weeks before the swap (so everyone has time to plan their project and get the supplies cut and ready).

Yes! I guess they prepare like 10 or 15 to do the shoebox swap but most of them do a general card swap along with the shoebox swap.. Maybe Liandrin can chime in and let us know more of how that works. <wink>
Are you going to try to join us Ruth?? The most we have had is 22!

Regarding SCSM5: They divide people up into small groups to do the shoebox swap. Then there are 2 make & takes...and drawings...and dinner...and a name tag contest. So far, no one has organized a card swap this year. They have in years past, but the organizers don't want to be in charge of that this year, in addition to what they are already doing. It's going to be a whirlwind weekend for me!

Come on & join us in Centerville in May!!!
You will feel like you're at regionals almost! Tons of fun! We only do 10 shoebox swaps. You sill see some great ones that you won't get to make and you will be bummed! But you will do some fun ones too! It is crazy how many people go to the SoCal Mania! But small get togethers like the one you're doing in Utah are good because you get to know each other better.
OK so I can see that I have been really slow on the up take this time. YES I'm coming. I'm so excited because I have finally found the elusive round scallop punch I have been looking for. So I know I have to do something with that, and I got me a cuttle bug so I'm going to have to do something with that also. Tooooo fun ladies!

Yeah! I'm so glad you're coming!! Invite your friends too! You're group made such cute projects last time and were so much fun. I'm excited to see what you come up with using your new toys!

Since we don't have a time set in stone yet, I propose that we say 10-4. After the Park City one today which we had 12 projects we were there 10-3 but we did do a lot of talking and did start late... Just my 2 cents.
Hope to see more ladies sign up to join us. It will be a lot of fun as always and I am promising to step up my game..
ALSO- I am really liking the idea of the extra card swap and would be willing to coordinate that if there is anyone interested in doing that along with the shoebox swap. The actual trading of the cards was soo fast the way they did it down in Park City! Let me know Missi if that is okay since I don't want to take over control of your gathering. ;)
We are at 15 already! I like the idea of a swap (YuRee feel free to organize, I'm not very possessive) and I understand the name tag contest was fun too. I have the condo from 10am to 5pm, so I think 10-4 will be great and it will give us a little time to clean up.
We can heat things on the stove, but cannot use the oven, there isn't a microwave either, just to keep in mind for the potluck. There are plenty of tables and chairs and lots of room to move around. The Centerville Roberts is close by as well

Ok so I will coordinate the swap part of this.. Missi can you put a reference back to the original post to refer to this post #73 for information on the swap itself.. I guess I might as well coordinate the name tag one too.
Swap Details: This is optional but sure is fun with MORE people!
Make as many cards as sign up:
Please take time to do nice cards! We might not get to look at these together so please make sure to put your name on it somewhere (stamped on back or recipe in card)

Thanks ladies for sharing this love of stamping with us!
I'm really sad to have to do this, but I have to pull out of this swap. :( I just found out yesterday that I have a family event that I have to attend which is scheduled for the same day.
Amy~please keep me informed of your Utah County swap, because I would really love to try to make it to that since I can't come to this one now.
I'm so sorry to be a flaker, but if I miss the family thing, I'll be toast. I hope y'all have fun!
I really wish I could join you ladies, but unfortunately we leave for a trip the day before... If you get together again in November, I'd love to come.
