Waiting for paint to dry, maybe can outline everyone's monogram tomorrow and do the detail work on my 3-D. Yes I did change. (changed to something everyone could use) Everything else is being collected in a box by the door all week so as I remember things, they go in the box. Lizz, you said you wanted leather, any color in mind? I'm bringing a light tan so far.
Any color,,, hubby not particular..just thankful...
OK ladies - I'm so excited I can't stand it!!! Here are the directions to our event. When you enter Wegman's parking lot - facing the front of the store - use the entrance at the far right where it says "Market Cafe". When you enter make a sharp right and the elevator is there - take that up to floor 2. When you exit elevator make a sharp right again and go straight back to the conference room - there should be a sign there.
Can't wait to see everyone and meet newbies!
Joanne, in advance, thank you for all you and your team have done to make this event possible! Especially when you have had health issues of your own.
I'm still working on shoeboxes....slow going, but I'll get there.

Ina - working on this event is the only thing that got me through my long recoveries. As for "team" its just me and my bff Beth -Teach57123 - she is my lifesaver!
3D's ...almost done. Recipe cards...will be done once I add one element and finish assembly. Swaps...will be packaged and ready to go by morning. I wasn't sure that I was going to make it!
I'd like to join in the handmade gift exchange but I'm not sure I will have the time. *sighs*
Ok,, this may seem silly, but not for me... I've checked and rechecked my "tool Box" to make sure I have everything I need (and extra of everything)! cause I've been known to forget things.. like glue/tape...I'm just reminding everyone ...cause just because my stuff has been ready to go for awhile,, I JUST KNOW I FORGOT SOMETHING!l..whatever that may be!
Okay, I had a late start because I couldn't find coverage BUT I have coverage. Finishing up my NVRs, showbox is done and a How To board has been completed. Recipe cards are partially done. Still need to have the recipes put on and some decor.
I am still waiting with fingers crossed that my Card Making Sister, Christi (Craf-T-Bear) will be well enough to travel with me.

Just got back from stamp a palooza at wegmans... Beth and Joanne did a marvelous, awesome totally perfect day... great gifts, door prizes, swaps were outtta sight, shoeboxes were awesome and the food was delish!!
lots of new friends and newbie stampers to splitcoast events... i hope they enjoyed themselves and will return soon...

Like Joanne said, THANK YOU to everyone who attended. I think we had 7-8 newbies at this event. Sarah (my daughter) said "it was a lot better than I thought it would be" so I have to believe it was because of all of you awesome women helping her out and making her comfortable. For those of you who didn't know, she never stamped before she started her shoebox Wednesday night!
Thank you all for being patient with us at our first attempt at running an event...we learned a lot and got some great suggestions for next time. Now it's time for a glass of wine and an early bedtime!

Thanks Joanne and Beth for all the hard work it is to put one of these gatherings together. The door prizes and tickets prizes were all things that we could use and we loved that. At every event I host I always learn something new so the learning process never stops. Looking forward to the event next year.

Thank you so much Joanne and Beth for a fun time. Thanks for all the hard work and birthing pains you went through. Well worth the trip across the border! Great raffle items and door prizes. Good to meet our fellow stampers, although I didn't spend too much time socializing because I was trying hard to finish some cards before the pain made me stop.
And we also got to go shopping at H.L. and Joanne's. We don't have these in Canada.
