Merry Christmas everyone. Making snowflakes for the children in Conn. after that horrible shooting. I'll post the address if anyone else wants to make them. They are going in the new school so when the students arrive, they are greeted by hundreds of fresh white paper snowflakes.

I was home alone last night - hubby stayed at his moms so he was closer to work, and my boys stayed with their Grandfather so I didn't have to shovel, get them to their Grandfather and make it to work on time - SO I decided to do some cards up and while I was digging out supplies (stashed for the holidays of course)... I found a stack of Recipe Cards that I had made too many of them for another swap... SOOOO
My Recipe Cards are 98% done for this event... LOL I just have to whip out either my Blender pens and ink pads or my trusty Crayola Colored pencils and finish the coloring. Yeah!!!
No Idea yet for the NVR or the Shoebox...

Actually, I still have about 10 in my fridge from when I hosted a BBQ at my house this past Summer. I'd say between the two of us, we could host a Card Making Party! Sounds like Becky might be interested. LOL

Sorry - still waiting on 3 responses. If we don't hear from them at beginning of next week I am going to close it out and post counts. Sorry ladies I know its frustrating.
For the shoe box part of the swap: do we have to make 2 different projects? One for morning and one for afternoon? Or are there enough people to use the same project for morning and afternoon?
I don't t know how I missed it before but I just read about people throwing a bunch of supplies on the table and telling people make what ever they want. I can't understand that! Isn't part of the fun and point of all this to share a creative project?
I have not experienced that or even heard of it before!

down to 2...I even asked at my groupnat the school about the mysterious names. Oh well, I taught the star card and an inside fold card tonight. We also made snowflakes. It was a good night.
