LOL!!! Actually, I only saw the Brazzill paper. BUT, paper was not my mission, so I wasn't paying any attention to it. I did wander through all the accessories aisles, saw paper for every occasion-even father's day, fancy vellum, etc. It's a nice size store. They only had a few different color stickles though because they can't keep them in stock. Guess I'll have to order some online.
They have Stickles? Do they have the scallop punches? Aw, man, I've gotta stop...
Mornin' gang. Four more days and counting! I've made my list of everything to bring but am so scared I'm gonna forget something. Anybody else feel that way?
Amy, how about you do us all a favor and post your list, that way if we forget something we'll all be in the same boat, LOL! Actually, the only thing on my list so far is "M&M's -- plain; M&M's -- peanut; M&M's -- yellow." Hahahaha. Sorry, Robin, but I'm not driving down to the M&M store before Saturday. If you'd only given me more notice, I could have taken color orders from everyone and gone down there for an M&M run, LOL!
Gals, I'm definitely planning on going to SB Cottage before -- hopefully by 10 am when the doors open. I really like to take my time browsing, and if the store isn't that big, then I'll go find a place to get a cup of coffee until we meet for lunch. So you're welcome to come meet me there!
Teresa -- is your friend at work still planning on coming? If you were planning on driving together anyway, then I'll just drive by myself. My DH will have just gotten home from a business trip, and the news of me leaving early in the morning did not go over too well ... so I might need to leave earlier in the afternoon than expected. He can handle the teens -- it's the 3 yo that totally wears him out!

I'll meet you there at 10, Anne! And to anyone else to wants to join us, we'd love to see you there!
I'll also share my packing list with you:
shoebox items (ink pads, markers, stamps, card samples)
swap packets
3-D swaps
door prize
name tags
ATG tape gun
glue pen
scissors
small Fiskars cutter
sanding block
eyelet punch/setter/mat
camera
gargage sale items
Am I missing anything???
Yeah, I'm glad you'll be meeting me at the store first. I'm addicted to paper. It's all just so luscious!
I was joking about the list ... but this is great! I would add bone folder. I'm thrilled to see you have an ATG gun. I've been on the fence about buying one, having never actually seen it in person, so seeing yours this Saturday might make up my mind for me. Thanks!

I love, love, love my ATG gun! At first it was awkward to use ~ expecially since I am left-handed ~ and I thought, why did everyone say to buy this thing! I hated it. But I kept on trying, and after a few days I WAS IN LOVE. I can't imagine using anything else. You are more than welcome to try it on Saturday.
Can't wait for Saturday. It sounds like a lot of fun. The scrapbook store on Wickham is way cool. She has alot of stuff. She was in a small store and has enlarged it about 2 years ago. If I need something she always has it. The owner is a doctor wife and they have alot of class there. I only live about 5 minutes away but don't go there to often. I already have way to much stuff. She has punches, not sure about the big scallop. She does sell Whale of a Punch. I will try to meet at 10:00 am.
I am planning on bringing 20 shoebox swaps. Should I do more?
I have used the library before for my events. Do we need to go early and set up tables? They are not set. Also we will need to put the tables away before they close and vacuum, etc. Not sure if you know what they expected. Very nice room. Do we need more door prizes? I'm just catching up with the reading.

Hello agian. I just received word that Christy (Christybusybee) will not be able to make it so that leaves us at 17, which is a terrific number. Christie, I'm sorry you can't make this one, but maybe next time.
Anne, I know you are kidding, but I attempted to attach my list anyways. I hope it works. It's in Publisher.
Robin, don't worry, I'll give you my yellow M&Ms!
Katherine, I'm right there with you. I LOVE my ATG gun! I'm left handed too, by the way. My friend Debbie will be stuck with scotch tape while I handle the big gun;).
As far as Charlie and Jakes Restaurant, when you enter, turn to your left and we'll be in the far left corner. You'll hear us!
Hi Linda, I'm glad to have another experienced library user there with us on Saturday. Another group has the room until 1pm. I hope to actually get there a little before then, just incase they leave early. They are currently still scheduled to use the room. I do not know if they will leave any tables out for us or not. With all of us strong beauties there, it won't take but minutes to set the tables up. It will take longer though to tear it all down and clean up all the Dazzling Diamonds. They lock the doors at 5, so we need to be cleaned up and out of there before then. F.Y.I for those that have not been to our library, when you enter the first of two sets of doors, we are in a room on the right hand side. We are allowed to have food and drink, so feel free to get a to go drink or refill at the restaurant.

Reason: add enclosure
Another few items for our list -- instructions, card samples, & adhesive refills!
Amy as far as scrap paper to work on, I have an old desk blotter calendar (those big ones) with tear-off pages. Do you want me to bring it? I think it has 12 pages in it.
ETA: Can a couple of you bring your paper piercer & mats? My card has two rows of paper piercing, and I know that usually holds people up when they're waiting for someont to finish using the piercer. Thanks!
And don't forget to label your supplies!

Thanks Amy for your list. Just let me know if you need anything. I can help cleanup as I live close so the others that are coming from a distance can start home. Perhaps the library will give you the phone number of the group in front of us and we could tell them to leave the table and chairs out. Might get us stamping faster. HEY!!!!!

Awww bummer! She's my upline...now I won't know anyone, hahaha! Do you guys all know each other?
Hi Linda, thanks for your offer. I apperciate your offer to help tomorrow and will definitely take you up on it.
I'd give ya'll my cell # in case anyone gets lost on their way over, but I don't have a cell. Therefore, the restaurant # is (321) 752-7675 and the Suntree-Viera Public Library is (321) 255-4404. Be sure to get the directions to Charlie & Jakes from the OP if you are not familiar with this area. If any other locals want to share their cell #, that would be great. See everybody tomorrow:-D
I'm like Katherine. I have only met Kim (stmprkb) one time, but from all of our pm'ing, I feel as if she and I are sisters and the rest of you are my close friends! Expect hugs from me tomorrow. I just can't wait to meet everybody. I told my friend Debbie, I feel as it it is Christmas Eve tonight and tomorrow is the big day we will get to meet everybody. Each of you are like a present- a new friend that I will get to meet. I'm totally excited!

Although I don't have a SCS shirt, I'll wear my pink SU short sleeve shirt. When you come into the restaurant, turn left and keep going into the far corner. You'll see us. If you click on my public profile, you'll see what I look like. Curly brown sholder length hair. Big smile. I'll probably get there around 10:45ish. See ya in a few hours.
Ok girls....I dropped Kelcey off and got home to a hubby and 2 boys who promptly said "Now that you are home, we have an errand to run. The boys want to go to the Wizards Wall (an anime-ish store) to get some new War Hammer stuff." How about that...I am gone all day, hanging out with my new friends and they wait until I get home to go off to the store. What's that song Heather's 3 year old was singing...with her finger and her thumb in the shape of an L on her forehead.......yup...LOSERS! comes to mind right now. I almost asked Gary if he was going to stop and get another blow dryer so we can dry the clothes, but he would probably have thrown the dryer at me! OUCH....I am now making Paula Deen's Ooey-Gooey Pineapple cake from her newest magazine. That should help the boys appreciate their mom!
I am so glad that we met together today. The cards were awesome and the day ran really smoothly. I can't wait for the next one. Hugs....
Roz
PS--I should be updating my blog tomorrow
stop by! wolfepak5.blogspot.com
Wow! What a day, and what a WILD RIDE home! I was heading to ACMoore and by the time I got up to 95 I couldn't see at all! I'm sure you all ran into the same thing. I sat in the parking lot at ACMoores for about 15 minutes, then ran in. (Thanks for the tip, Roz, I got the distresser! But I was a good girl and didn't buy anything else.)
This was such a fun day, and it was so great to meet new friends. Thanks to Robin & Amy for pulling this together and for everyone who made such awesome cards! Robin, I love the picture you took of our loot today.
Roz, when I read your post, I thought, "Cool! Not only does she get the day to herself, but the evening too!" But I guess you were expecting more of a welcome home, huh!
Linda, thanks for getting all our contact info. I can't wait to get it!
I'm looking forward to our next meet-up, ladies, it was fun!

Hey wonderful friends, wow, what a day! I just had the very best time and want to thank each and every one of you for coming today. I appreciate you helping out with the set up,clean up, and snacks. Debbie and I just loved creating all the different cards and meeting each and every one of you. Thanks for making today so special.
Some of you may have picked up that I was worried about stmprkb (Kim). She is the one who so generously created the ultimate door prize basket that everyone entered & Debi won. Unfortunately Kim was stuck at home with a horrible cold- sneezing, coughing, wheezing. Sad to say, but she sacrificed her fun today and did us a favor by not coming, as she didn't want to get us sick. Poor girl. I hope she feels better soon.
Thanks again everybody for the best day! I will look into a date at the library in late January/early Feb. so we can do this again. I'll keep you posted.
Oh my goodness was today ever fun! I have been smiling all day thinking about spending the day with other women "who get it"! Thanks Robin for posting the pictures...I actually said to my dear and wonderful husband (I really mean it; he is fabulous!) "I know you won't look at what I made today but here's a picture of it all"...and would you know he smiled and said "great". I think I actually did him a favor of not having to look at each beautiful creation yet I got the reaction I am happy about It really doesn't take much!! I hope everyone had safe trips home ~ thank you for traveling as far as many of you did. Thanks to Amy and Robin for coordinating; I absolutely cannot wait til our next together. Oh by the way, I solemnly vow to leave my punch in one piece and never dismantle it as long as I shall live!
