I'm wondering with all the people who have conflicts with this date if we should change the date....
There does seem to be a lot of us that cannot make it on the 18th. However, how many of those same ladies will be able to make it if we change it to the following weekend? Just a thought. I know we had it the last weekend of the month last October and had a pretty good size group show up.
I can't make this one due to Location- But I am thinking of still trying to have stamp weekend at my house! Small cut could make it work! Maybe in Mid November - So we can work on Christmas cards- and we could also hit the stamp store and Scrap book store as well! Would any of you be up to comeing to Charlotte?
and what dates in November would work best ??? Tossing around ideas here! If there are enough folks we might be able to use the space at the Scrap or stamp store to work. I can put up a few folks to sleep and if folks bring air beds then I can put up many!
I need to do my Christmas cards and why not do them with friends????

All right you guys. I need to know what you want to do. I have reserved the church for the 18th so if I need to cancel, I need to let them know. If you want to change it to the 25th, you will have to find a place to hold it because the church has a conflict that day.

I think no matter what date you select, there are always going to be people that cannot come.
I vote for keeping it the way it is now and if it turns out to be a small group then maybe next year we can send out a poll. I am grateful that we even have a place to hold it this year. Patti

Yay!!! I am excited!!! Since there is only going to be about 12 of us, anybody want to do anything else as well as the swap? Erika suggested maybe doing a secret sister type thing where we can bring a special surprise for our "sister" Let me know what you think. We are going to have all day to work on the swaps and just hang out. Sounds like it will be nice and relaxing and everyone should be able to finish. :-)
I'm looking forward to it, even with the smaller group of people. Of course we'll miss everyone that cant come, but I agree that changing the date would just lead to more conflicts.
My niece Courtney Gonzales will be coming with me to our swap on the 18th. She will bring a dessert pizza. She is really looking forward to our exciting stamping day. It was no problem driving back and forth to Columbia for the last meeting in the spring, so maybe a group could ride down together from Columbia just for the day. Monck's Corner is closer to Columbia than down- town. I hope more people will be able to come for the fun. I can't wait! Happy World Card Making Day coming up soon!

Food is for Saturday and you can bring whatever you would like. We seem to have a good mix going between sweets and savories. You can do whatever you would like for the name tag contest. We usually vote on the most creative one. Door prizes are handed out randomly throughout the day and if you bring one, you get one. Usually we do little handmadies valued around $10-$15.

I will be there and will do all the paper products. This is the first time I've checked the thread. Sounds like a lot of fun!! Lisa-- you could just stay up all night and day so you don't have to get up so early!!

I have to go on the "tentative list"...my DH found out he may be going to Germany that week.....If I can't find someone to keep the kiddies I will not be able to attend...I will let you know ASAP! :(
