Oops... forgot to mention one thing. I ordered the 72 set of Prismacolor pencils from Amazon.com for $50.88 - no tax or shipping. Just waiting for them to arrive in the mail. And, I need to find the gamsol. Has anyone used another brand of the odorless mineral spirits, or do I really need to find the gamsol? Such a cute card, Libby!!!
I use the brand Turpenoid that I got from Hobby Lobby. Same stuff, different name. If you have a little bottle, I can give you some of mine. I have a pretty big can.
FYI-----Karmen has gotten the shoebox swap fever. She's hosting another one on December 5th. It's a Christmas card Shoebox Swap. Let me know if you are interested in attending. I will be organizing it.
I wish I could go, but we have a gymnastics meet that weekend!

Secondly, I am now HOOKED on swaps!! I can't stop talking about it to my friends. Now I understand why my 7yo loves Centers at school. Shoebox swaps are centers for grown-ups. I love it!

Your comparison of shoebox swaps to 'centers' is such a true delight to read, coming from a former 1st grade teacher! I must show this to my GF! hahaha
FYI....I can't find my "My Digital Studio" software that I took with me to the swap. The last I saw it was when I installed it on my laptop on Friday night. If you've seen it, please let me know. I really don't want to have to buy the software again.

Hi Megan, I'll keep an eye out for a purple handled pin hole punch. I will also check with the ladies that cleaned to see if they found it.
Pop a bag of butter microwave popcorn. Pour in large bowl and remove any unpopped kernels. Melt a bag of white chocolate chips- I found it melts best in a glass bowl for 1 minute, stir, and heat 30 more seconds. Pour chocolate over and mix well. Spread onto wax paper to harden. You can add colored sprinkles for holidays. Easy peasy!
I have to say I have made this about 3 or 4 times and it has been a hit. My daughter needed a food item for her science class that consisted of 3 ingredients, so we used this. There have never been any leftevers. Thanks for sharing this with us.
