Hey Ladies...I don't normally ask but I was wondering if I could ask for some prayers. My mom is having an angiogram (sp) on Tuesday for blockage in her heart and my dad is starting his second treatment of chemo and radiation for lung and esophageal cancer cancer just after that. They both could use some extra thoughts and prayers right now. Thanks so much! I'll miss you guys on the 10th!

I finally decided on a design and have most of the pieces sorted out. I bought the wrong Kraft (12x12), so I'm having to make more cuts that I wish I had to do. Oh well, such as life. Next thing to consider is a door prize. I have one idea that is handmade, but I may not get it all done, so it will be a trip to HL, M's, or JA's.

I jusst did a mapquest holy bologna, I am going to have to leave pretty early...it says 2 hours and 4 min drive time! LOL My momma and I will be up and the crack of dawn!

Some nibbles would be nice. If you have a favorite drink, you may want to bring it, too. The website says linens are provided, so I think that includes towels. But I will find out for sure. I do know that you are supposed to bring your own pillow.
so do we get three meals, the just the day peeps or two? cuz I read we get breakfast too?
Everyone gets 3 meals on Saturday---breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Water and Tea are provided. I plan on buying a bunch of 3 liter sodas, but you may want to bring some if you have a special soda that you like.

I hope Libby brings her yummy spinach dip. I am either bringing the garlic pesto cheese log that I took to the San Antonio swap or Baked Potato Dip (it's got everything you like on a baked potato without the potato).

What do we have going on for snacks so far? I know a lot of ladies bring dip - would I be OK with bringing a few bags of chips and some nice crackers or are those being provided by the hostesses?

Rae Anne, do you happen to know how long it takes to get there from Steiner? Wondering how earrrrrly I need to leave Saturday AM.
I won't be able to stay the entire day - will probably leave at the ~3:45 break, but will leave my stuff there so everyone can finish my card. And DUH - I had been wondering about the schedule for the day - turns out it helps to READ THE FAQ!!! Sorry Brenda! :mrgreen:
