Default Is anyone cropping on Friday night?

Or is everyone planning to be worn out from shopping? LOL~

I'm trying to decide whether or not to bring some stuff to work on. DH is more than fine with being left alone during the evening since he's going to be out looking at real estate.

Anyone planning to go?

Definitely not cropping. I hate traveling with my stuff...there's too much of it. Plus I'm coming up Thursday after work, staying overnight, and leaving when we're done on Friday.

So am I assuming correctly that the "trade" show is only for retailers, but the "craft supershow" is for the general public?
Can I also assume that the location of this changes show to show? How do you find out where the next one will be held?
My family is all in Flordia and my mother has been begging me to fly down, Flordia in July ?? But this could change my mind.
Thanks for the info ladies.

Correct-
trade is for consumers/educators/designers etc. and the other is for the general public.
As for where- they used to be held regularly in Anaheim (winter) and Chicago (summer)- this is the first time they have moved it in a while-
usually the do advertise where the next one is at the current show- so we should hear when the dates are and if it will still indeed be in Anaheim again for Winter soon!

I thought about doing the crop Friday, but I don't want to bring any stamping stuff with me, especially since I don't want to check any luggage on the way down. I want to relax and shop and find people to talk stamping and stuff!

Actually the crop is $20 and they are giving away goodie bags value at up to $50 plus prizes and raffles.

I decided to drive 6 hours rather than fly JUST SO I can bring my bag to go to the crop. You should check it out on the Supershow website. 'Course the less of you go the better my chance at winning the AWEsome Grand Prize.;)

My one concern is that it ends at 11:00pm and I'm worried about walking alone back to the hotel. Can any of you Florida ladies or anyone familiar with the area tell me what your opinion is on the safety issue?
Thanks!

Thanks. The cellphone is a good idea. My sister stays up late and I can call her.

There are also shuttles running betweent he Convention Hall and many of the hotels. Check to see if yours has a shuttle and plan on using it, or one of the trolleys.

About the cell phone...just BE ALERT while you are walking both for people AND traffic. In a tourist place like Orlando, lots of tourist drivers mean people running through lights, etc. Find a buddy and walk with them if you absolutely must walk at night.

Thanks for all the advice. I'm thinking probably some others will be going in the same direction and we can walk together.

In case anyone needs to know - if you're going to the crop and don't want to leave the show and go get your cropping supplies - I called this AM and they do have a baggage check at the registration desk where we can leave that extra bag while shopping. The lady said she thinks it's around $5 per bag. I for one will be pulling a shopping cart/tote and didn't want to keep up with my crop supply bag as well.
