The new SU color palette is beautiful, however - I don't know if any of you were as frustrated as I was to discover that MANY of the SU markers are NOT sold separately! ...Bummer! However - "help" may be on the way!!
I e-mailed SU and related my disappointment - inquiring if I could POSSIBLY purchase only the THREE markers I needed to complete my collection - because I was not interested in purchasing markers in "sets" - duplicating most of what I have. They graciously replied, stating there has been a lot of customer concern regarding this issue and that by the end of this week - they may have a solution - check back on their web site or contact your demonstrator. Alleluia!!!!!!!!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I just posted a thread below...asking if there are any Copic markers that are close to Coastal Cabana? Someone was gracious enough to supply me a link, but none of the copic markers in the link look close to this color. I don't need the whole set of markers however. I will check the end of the week to see what can be done about this!!
I wish they would sell "uninked" markers. Then you could use a refill to fill it with whatever color you need. At least we know they're working on a solution.
This is good news, since I decided that I'm not going to buy ink pads anymore. Since SU is changing their colors so often now, I can't keep getting stuck with ink pads that are obsolete, they take so much room. Plus I can sometimes get decent matches with colors I already have, so I don't need to buy entire color families.

I will say this is awesome news!!!! Many demos has called or email DS about this. We want indivdual markers back!!!! So far, no go for us. But it means more coming from customers!!!! I am excited!!!!!!
From my perspective as a customer, SU seems to be genuinely concerned about keeping its customers happy--let's hope they continue this by offering individual markers
I too need only a few and I am not buying sets just to get them and have extras. I don't need to waste the $ on ones I already have. I would rather get the new exciting things I want than have duplicates. Can't wait to hear the good news when we can complete out sets! Thanks for letting us all know.
Good news! Markers will be available individually for the new colors!

Thank goodness, even if it's only for a few months. Hope they learned a valuable lesson for their next color revamp. I'm still mystified why they insist we purchase most of the markers in sets. Makes as much sense as if they tried it with the standard size cs, inkpads and reinkers.
My guess it is probably more cost effective to sell markers in sets. However when they do these (all too often, in my opinion!) color palette renovations, "individual" product purchases SHOULD be an option - even if for a limited time, as it is now. Again - Thank you SU for listening to your customers!! If there are any demonstrators out there listening - PLEASE remember this - for your customers. I remember having a “total melt down” in 2010 when they did the HUGE color renovation!! Many of the colors I
L-O-V-E-D went away, especially the purples. AND – being the type of person who “needs it all”, I spent A LOT of money updating my supplies. I still become “sick” when I look inside of my drawer with “piles” of retired stamp pads, not to mention the mounds of retired card stock!! As you may recall – that is when the economy was really BAD and I did not appreciate their timing – why would they do this to their customers at such a difficult time? It wasn’t until then that I realized the purpose of the “In Colors” product – testing, testing… that is what it’s all about. So, I am glad I kept up with the In Colors product line, since then and I have most of it all, already. This time - I had all stamp pads, markers and ink pads - except for three colors, which I can now purchase! Now …it’s just a matter of reorganizing - which I enjoy doing!
