Small note cards - any ideas?
Over the past year I have acquired quite the selection of small SU note cards. Some have come in "lots" on Ebay, others have come as little extras when I buy from either here or the Bay...lots of folks have passed them on to me! I have square ones, rectangle scalloped ones, round ones...all with matching envelopes! Well, they just sit in the drawer because I have a hard time turning them into cards! They are small so you can't really layer punches because most will take up the whole card! Maybe they should...I don't know. Does anyone have pictures in their galleries or blogs that might inspire? I would love to use them on gifts or something but just can't seem to come up with anything nice. Thanks in advance!!

I had some of these and used them for baby cards to go with gifts. I stamped a pair of hands, animals, etc and then a small sentiment. Also added small buttons depending on the image. I've also stamped the card with a bg stamp that covered the whole card and then added a 'thank you" sentiment. Just a few ideas, HTH

I usually use the 3x3 cards to make gift tags. I'm not very creative with them :( ...

Do you have children? I have a friend who puts little notes in her kids' lunch boxes and backpacks. Doesn't need to be fancy but maybe it could just be a little I'm thinking of you thing. Or affirmation. Or positive thought of the day or something

I make a lot of 3" cards I call them gift cards because, most of them were done with scraps from larger cards... but, I also have a drawer full of those little SU ones... ( I forget to use them because, they are in the drawer)
on my blog if you click the words gift card it sorts it to those posts... most the time the gift cards are at the end of the post because, they were made with scraps. I have some in my gallery here but, most are on the blog.

For inspiration for all kinds of things lately, I've been using Google, and clicking images. Here are some images I found when I typed in "handmade mini notecards":

I did a few I think trying to challenge myself to use product that I had on hand. I used a small stamp image, Ladybug SU and Frog also SU and did it similar to how I typically make a regular card, just on a much smaller scale. I never uploaded them to my gallery, but maybe I will when I get home. If I remember correctly I also used a stampin' wheel for the background. I rarely use my wheels, I always felt guilt for using them because they were so simple (Hello...what is wrong with me???) but I have gazillions of them. ;)
