I have decided I am telling hubby I want Misti for a present.
I know I do not want the smallest size but do I want the larger size? Is it more accomodating? what are the pros of the mid/original size?
Any advice is appreciated
I do not currently partake in scrapbooking for larger size Misti, but may choose to someday and would like to make BIG cards...maybe I have already answered my own question. I would still appreciate opinions, pros, cons, advice
I am the brand newer owner of a Misti, and I have only stamped one image to try it out, so expert advise I am not able to give....however I can tell you the rational in me getting original size Misti as opposed to the mini or the 12x12 one.
I make non standard size cards, so the mini was out for me, as it would be too small & although I have all the stash for about a bazillion scrapbooks (ok maybe not a bazillion...but close!) I don't do scrapbooking, so I have no need for the large Misti and the original Misti ticked all the requirement boxes for me.
I would definitely get the original for your first! I think you will want a mini eventually for quick/travel/sentiment stamping - but the original is more versatile.
While I LOVE the 12X12 MISTI, if you don't scrapbook, I don't see the need for it. It is a bigger footprint to use. Now, I preordered it, and ended up winning it for free as part as a contest for preordering so I obviously think it is worth the money, but I don't pull it out to do a simple card. Only for scrapbook pages. And yes, for those pages, it is the best thing EVER!!!!!! I always stamp on my layouts and this has saved layouts from being ruined or having to add a pop up label to stamp what I want for fear of ruining the whole layout.
The mini is a great little one to do a quick card. I love how compact it is. But it's not necessary, you can do the same thing with the original one. Now I'm not saying not to buy it, but the mini seems to be an add on for me. What you get AFTER you get the original!!
I don't make scrapbook pages so I do not need the largest size. I only have the original size and it is big enough to make a card front for a 5x7 card.
