Does anyone know of a website that could be the scrapbookers' equivalent to SCS?? (I realize nothing could ever compare to this site, but maybe a close alternate??)
I would like to know to, that way I might get some use out of my scrapbook things again. I have been stamping for months but not wanting to scrapbook just stamp! Finding this site too.....
www.dmarie.com It has a forum for questions, they have a poem place where you can enter any topic and one to one-hundred poems will come up for that subject. They also have a gallery/photo place with page layout ideas.
I tend to hang out at www.cherishedscrapbooks.com It's a Canadian site, and has some great ideas in the gallery (and lovely people who are members there!).
Before SCS, I use to visit Two peas in a bucket almost daily. Their scrapbooking gallery is awesome!!!! They do have a stamping gallery but it doesn't even come close to the greatness of SCS!!!!

I too love twopeasinabucket but have found that with all of the popularity they have become so fast paced - almost too fast paced - for me lately. If I want to see a certain paper or embelishment used then I go there and type it in the search and it brings up good ideas for me to use. I do browse through the gallery but lately it has been down to about once a week. If you like more personal, slower paced web sites then you should try www.theessenceofmemories.com They are so friendly and every piece of work in the gallery is wonderful!! They have great prices in their store too!

I too am a 2 peas fan. Although, it is very political - yes, WAY more than here. I suggest if you do not like to feel like you are back in a bad high school nightmare you stay away from the NSBR (Non scrap book related) board. If you stick to the gallery and the scrapbook forum it is nice. I was totally "addicted" to the site and then November rolled around - my side did not win so I took my scrapbook supplies and left.
OK - maybe that is a little dramatic....alot of people over there are Very nice ladies! I have gotten some many great tips and countless ideas. Oh yah - and lots of free fonts! Check it out.
scrapbookaddict.com is my home away from home! It doesn't have a gallery, but it has an awesome message board, a product review page, and a marketplace. The girls there are VERY nice and helpful about any questions you could have. Scrapbooking questions, products questions, just about anything. You should definitely give it a try...that's my family!!!
For me, the other sites are great, but nothing compares to SCS. The other places mentioned are reat for scrapbooking, but they are mostly nonstampers. Loads of cute layouts using decorative papers, but very few using advanced stamping techniques. And so much of scrapbooking is getting so ecclectic that you seem to lose the pictures in the process.
I guess I'm looking for something that doesn't exist yet, a place where stamping and scrapbooking are truly united and every page has stamping. I'm just not that keen on decorative papers. I have some, but I find that when I sit down to scrap, I've bought all kinds of paper that don't work for my layout and realize that the one sheet that would work is still back at the scrap store. So I create my own with stamps and ink.
I find that here I get scrapping inspiration for the card makers. I pick out a set I like and then I search the card forums. I'll find a card I love and then duplicate the techniques or colors I see onto a scrap page. It really pushes my creative thinking to do this.
Let me know if you find a forum of stamping scrapbookers. It's not that I don't think I can learn from the nonstamping ones (I have tons of magazines, etc that offer this), it's just that I'd like to be at a place where I'm not in the minority. So few stamping scrapbookers around....
Ink Paper Scissors uses the same program that SCS does. It's not as big as SCS but has the same familiar format.
It's hosted by a SU demo and specifically caters to stamping and scrapping. (there are also cards and papercrafts there) but you will see alot more layouts with SU stamps there in the gallery. Check it out
This place has a store, gallery and messageboard. All totally rocks!!! I spend more time over there than I do here. It's a great place and I highly recommend it for scrapbookers. The gallery is awesome, and it also has a stamping forum.
does anyone use MoBe's? Pam and her dh the ones who created them are a big part of that message board. I, myself have yet to purchase a set of MoBe's, but I've heard they are great.
