I've had this product for a while but seldom used. Now I find myself reaching for it more often when I create backgrounds with watercolor, powder pigments, gelatos and water soluble oils sticks... I stamp my image in archival ink on watercolor paper and use the miskit to paint on the mask. Once dry I proceed to work on the background. When satisfied with background I rub off the miskit and paint the image... luv it!
I use this a lot on winter cards, splashing it on the sky area for snow. I use an old toothbrush, tapping the brush to splash the masking fluid onto the paper. After sponging on blues for the sky, I rub off the masking fluid and voila -- snow falling.
That a good idea to try...I'm trying to decide if I want to keep some of the smaller stamping up images I bought when I was a demonstrator 20 years ago. I stamping them on w/c paper and using the masking fluid to paint them in before I work on the background.
