I live in Sarnia, Ontario, and am travelling to Cleveland area for a workshop this weekend. Are there any "must see" stamp stores along my trip? If so, I'll Mapquest them.
There is Stamplistic in Amherst, Ohio (maybe 30 minutes from Cleveland). I was there when it was in its smaller space. They have moved to a bigger space, but I have not been back yet.
If you want to see a paper paradise, check out Hollo's in Brunswick, Ohio. It, too, is about 20 - 30 minutes from Cleveland. You will LOVE this place!!!
I LOVE Hollo's! I used to live in NE Ohio and my aunt and I would make a few trips a year up there, I'm still swimming in cardstock! (for $1/pound! - not sure if that's still the price, but it was a couple years ago).
There was a great store in Parma, called Rubber Age Stamps, not sure if it's still there, but they had a great selection of stamps.
I believe Rubber Age Stamps closed 2-3 years ago. Hollo's is AWESOME for paper, cardstock and envelopes. If you don't mind heading a little farther south, there's a sweet stamping department at Toyrifix in Smithville. The whole complex there is a fun place to visit with The Barn restaurant, a nice bulk food shop, a gift shop and an Amish-built furniture store.
I also HIGHLY recommend Pat Catan's craft stores. There are several of them in NE Ohio. Great prices! Every time any of my friends or family from Michigan come to Ohio to visit, they also demand a trip (or two!) to Pat Catan's.
Just an FYI ... Hollo's paper is up to $1.25 per pound now. Still a great deal. I ususally walk out of there with at least 10-15 pounds of paper (mostly white, black and beige)!!! Any of the Pat Catans are great, too! THere is also a Hobby Lobby close to Hollo's!

Toyrifix is my favorite stamp store. It is small, but packed full of goodness!

Went to Hollo's for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Was able to match 5 of the new SU colors dead on. I bought 25 sheets of each one and spent $4.01. Can't beat it with a stick (as my Dad always said).
If you do come down to the Archiver's in Fairlawn, there is a new Hobby Lobby in the same strip mall. Michael's is across the street. A big JoAnn's ETC is about 1/2 mile to the west (on the same street) and Pat Catan's is about 2 - 3 miles to the east (again on the same street).
Hollo's is well worth the visit. Check out the beautiful handmade paper they carry.
