Well today I went to the gallery and took a look through the cards posted the last week and saw how many had ZERO comments. Such a shame since there were so many wonderful cards to be found.
SO, MY CHALLENGE to youis to go to the gallery and leave a comment on a ZERO comment card.
I know, I know....you are so busy. I am too but I have tried as best as I can to make it a mini mission to do that on a regular basis. If we ALL leave one comment, even just one but more if you can find the time, there will be far less cards there with Zero comments.
Since we are such a caring community, lets share some love. Think of it like this....a comment is like a virtual hug and who doesn't need or like that!!
1. Go to the Home Page and click on 'New Additions to the Gallery'.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see 'Sort Photos'.
3. Click the 'Sort By' button till you find # of comments
Click the 'Timeframe' button till you find Last Week
Click the 'Order' button to say ASCENDING
Nothing brightens a day more than finding a good comment on something I've made! Good idea Karen! I try to comment as much as possible. Off to comment now!

This is something I try to do regularly. I still remember the first comment I ever got and who gave it! Going off to give a little more encouragement via the comment button! :-)
I'm in and just left plenty of love ♥ - and try to leave comments every time I'm on SCS. I know how much it brightens my day if someone takes the time to leave a comment on one of my cards. I had no idea that you could sort cards into number of views - thanks for that info
I was in the habit of favoriting but not commenting on those I favorited, only because I was in a hurry. Then I would come back and comment later. If I favorite when in a hurry, at least they go into my favorites and I can find them later.

Of course, we all love comments on our cards...but I will take a "Favorite" when I can get it! At least it means somebody liked my card enough to click the button, lol.

I make it a point to comment when I can. I wish I had more time.
Sometimes i will just pick a challenge from a day and just comment on all the entries. Not only does that spread some love and help me keep in occasional contact with great stampers... I learn from it immensely. By doing it that way, I get to see all the interpretations of that challenge. I've done it with mix challenges, color challenges, and featured stamper challenges.
I know some people don't think a one-word comment (or simple comment) has a lot of substance, but I really think of it as an expression of attention.
I really wish we could "like" cards from the broad gallery view. I often scroll the gallery by expanding the gallery view on my tablet so basically one card takes up my whole screen and I can enjoy the details. So even though things don't show as a view on each individual card (another measure of appreciation) - I am viewing!
I don't favorite because my favorites is so full. I wish I could empty it and start over. I have things going back to 2007 and it would just take too much time to delete them all.
I love splitcoast, and I am so grateful that people take time to upload! I've learned SO much from you guys. I get a lot of pleasure from viewing here. Thank you!!
Thanks for this challenge. I just did this and it was fun. I almost never go through the gallery (I think I'd get lost in there forever). So many fun creations and what a joy to connect by simply leaving some love. Thanks for the tip on sorting. XO

I usually go through a whole days' worth of uploads to leave comments, but I'm getting to do it about once a week now. I agree it's lovely for everyone to receive some praise to bring a smile to their faces.
Karen, Thanks for posting the information in #2 posting. I had no idea about searching and sorting, Etc. Never saw that section. I now have found some Darling cards that needed at least one comment!

That's awesome!!!
Thanks so much everyone for playing in my challenge. I am sure we have brightened a few people's day!
Let's keep it going...please!
Thanks for the reminder. I have never posted cards here but it is so nice to get sweet comments. I have come here more times than I can count for inspiration but have commented on cards very little. I will definitely make an effort to comment from now on.
on my way to do this. Great idea Karen. I used to do this but stopped for some reason.

Karen, thank you for posting this. We all need to remember how a kind word can make someone's day. I remember how nervous I was posting my first card and then those lovely comments on my card REALLY made my day. I didn't know how to do this listing so I'm thankful that you posted it and I found so many gems just waiting to be found

I also remember how nervous I was posting my first card here. I was also amazed when I got a comment....
thanks and glad we can keep it going!
Just visited the gallery this am. and found so many great cards, especially masculine ones that would be great for F-day, sitting with zero comments so added mine.
Hope you can play along today!
Just went to the gallery to leave some LOVE. Wow...some really fantastic cards sitting there with zero comments! It is a shame that they had none. Hope it makes someone out there smile with the comments I left for them.
