CurlyChick. This was my nickname on a bowling league several years ago, because I have VERY curly blonde hair. We also had SassyChick, SmileyChick and GigglyChick on the team!

Originally here on SCS I was stampinsane! Which I thought could be taken as stampin insane or stampin keeps me sane. About two years ago I was bumped off and each time I logged on I had to keep changing my screen name. The only thing the mods could figure out was the ! was a problem????
My father owned an Allis Chalmers farm dealership when I was growing up. I kept putting in versions of Allis Chalmers. It still wouldn't stay signed in??? Anyway, it was suppose to be Allisstamps123 but it ended up Allistamps123. The 123 comes from my years of teaching preschool and kindergarten.

Mine came about because I was trying to represent my love of rubber stamps. After trying MANY, this one worked. I wasn't thrilled but it worked so I stayed with it. The 603 is the area code for NH.
Mine actually comes from the lead character in a short story I wrote YEARS ago. I needed an online name for another group and, at a loss for ideas, I just used that name. It's been my username for online groups ever since

Mine is a web designer pun of sorts. You consult the 'whois' directory for information about websites. I was in the biz at the time and named my site whoistracy as a joke; so I just used that for my SCS name.
Mine is from sis-n-law from when my husband and I were first dating, she started callin me Aunt Nanners and Nanners just stuck. My real name is Nancy, but everyone either calls me Nanners or Nan, just don't call me late for a party......
We have chickens that lay eggs, and I used to gather the eggs all the time. My blog is named The Lucky Clucker so I went with the next best thing - "eggette"
Bugga in OK - The last part is easy, I live in Oklahoma.
At age 18 months, my first grandson would not say grandma, or nana, but insisted that I was "Bugga". We had no idea what he meant, but he insisted with all his toddler stubbornness, so that became my "grandma name."
He is now a 6 ft. tall handsome 21 year old, and it just melts my heart that he still calls me "Bugga" in a deep baritone.
PS - We now have 17 grandchildren, and 4 "greats" and I am called "Bugga" by all of them.

I have had the username "jazzytobi" for as long as I've been on the internet. That's about what, 15 years!?! My name is Tobi and I have a couple degrees in Jazz (I'm a pianist and singer) and now a high school music teacher.

I couldn't think of anything creative, hence Stamp luvr, because I do love my stamps.
Beaglelover, this post is really to you. We too are Beagle lovers. We are really sad today as we had to euthanize our beloved Abby yesterday. She was nearly 14. We have had 5 Beagles over time and she was by far the best of them. She was so funny and lovable and she "talked". Never have had a dog that was so vocal about things. She also yodeled when she heard music.
Enjoy your Beagle, or do you have more than one? We had Abby's mother as well till she died of cancer at 8 years of age in 2002.

This thread is so fun. You know how you get something in your head, and that's what it is? I've seen your posts a lot, but always said to myself,
Jazzy, to be. Like you were going to become "jazzy". Ha!
Gonna have to change it.

SMH: Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego. It's where my twin sister (there's the "twin" part of my screen name) and I have volunteered for many years. She started volunteering there over 20 years ago and I've been doing it for over 16 years.
We're known as the "Sharp Twins" in various volunteering organizations and it always helps people remember who we are because we are identical twins. We looked a lot more alike when we were younger but you can definitely tell we are twins when you see us together.
We both love volunteering; it's nice to "give back" and be philanthropic :p
Hi Beaglelover! Haven't seen you on the autism thread in awhile....come say hi over there and let us know how things are going.

Great thread! As for me....I have been to several websites and needed usernames on all of them. I have had many many times that I would pick out a name and get the message back "already taken"....I thought to myself. Who in their right might would use the name muscrat? ME! That's who!! And another viewpoint, when you first create a username, you are never sure you will like it there so it doesn't seem to matter at the beginning....later you may wish you could change it, but then everyone gets used to it and would be lost if I did. So muscrat I will forever be...and I love it here!
Beaaddict - I too suffer from the very same affliction. Last weekend at our Farmer's Market a woman was selling beads and she was trying to get rid of her mother of pearl strands and she was selling them 100 strands for $20.00. Well, how could I resist????? I need to start making lots of jewelry with them now but it was just too good of a deal to pass up! :-)

When I joined SCS, I think in 2007, I was looking for a user name besides Bev. I saw a box of CD's on my desk that said Maxell, so snagged that for my screen name.
Mine comes from the last line in a Carl Sandburg my dad used to read me when I was little. It was called "Sand Flat Shadows" and he probably read it to me a hundred times.
The last line says "Only the fireborn understand blue." It just stuck with me

I love this thread too! I wondered where you found that name! And Maxell, too funny!
My husband gave me mine. He calls me Winkle and he was teasing me about stamping one day and came up with 'Stampvanwinkle' and it stuck. He makes me smile.
