Default House Mouse - - just want to share

I have purchased products from House Nouse twice. The first time I could not have been happier. However the second time, in March, 07, I odered 2 of one item and only received one. I called House Mouse and spoke to Kathy. We had a very pleasent conversation. I could not have been happier. I never received any confirmation of our conversation, so I e-mailed them. I received back from House Mouse the following:

Dear Rosemary,

Thanks for your note. I am sorry that Cathy dropped the ball on this. I will credit your credit card $7.99 for the tote bag, $1.00 for the extra shipping that was charged because the order was over $80 with the totebag and there is no refund on tax because you did not pay any sales tax.

Again sorry about this "mouse-take"

maxwell

I never saw a credit on my credit card, so I e-mailed them again. My e-mail went unanswered. It is now July 07 and I still have not received my refund.
Just wanted to share my experience

Bummer. I'm sorry that happened to you. I wish I had some suggestions. I'm sure some one has had a similar experience that they got resolved and will share it with you.

about house mouse...

I love house mouse stamps. They are so adorable. I bought some stamps at valentines day...before I ever got to use one of them, the little mousy tail came unattached from the foam, and it refuses to go back on correctly.

all in all, the quality of the stamps seems to have gone down lately, at least in my opinion.

I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time getting your money back. I will keep that in mind the next time I think about ordering stamps from them. Thanks for the headsup.

I'm sorry to hear of these bad experiences. I love house mouse stamps and placed an order on 7/18 via the web and received it today! I haven't stamped with them yet but they appear to be of good quality.

That is awful that you had such a bad experience with them!!!
I must say I love all my House Mouse stamps!! I have 53 at present and will be continuing to add to my collection. If you are interested in images you can check out my swap. The link is in my signature. I give good crisp clean images on good quality cardstock.
I hope you get your money back soon!

Rosemary, have you tried calling them. Your post said you emailed them and you haven't heard anything. Maybe if you call them and ask to speak to a manager or supervisor that will get the ball rolling. If not, then call your credit card company and dispute the charge and let them know you didn't get the item you paid for. You will get a credit until the credit card company resolves it.

If all else fails, tell your tale to the credit card company directly. They will be able to reverse the charges.

I am sorry to hear you have had problems. I have purchased HM stamps from them and haven't had any problems. Just rec'd another order last week and everything was perfect. Got it within a week of placing the order and the stamps are all fine. Like any of the rubber stamp companies out there, once in a while a stamp is defective or a employee drops the ball and doesn't follow through on a customers complaint.

Please give them another call and ask about the credit that's due you. I have always found them to be very easy to deal with so another nudge may be all that is required to resolve the problem.

I recently placed an order with them and shipping was fast and my stamps are great. I'd try contacting them by phone like Sandy H said. Hope all works out for you..

I had a problem a few weeks ago ordered 2 stamps and waited 2 weeks they didn't arrive so I emailed asking when I would receive and didn't get a response so again I wrote a few days later and got a response that they would credit my account. They said they were having problems getting in the stamps. I was disappointed because I don't have any of theirs and really wanted them.

Man, that is seriously aggravating for you I know. I personally have only had great customer service from them. I do find that I like to shop elsewhere for my HM stamps because I can get them cheaper. Don't give up on the great images, just find a wonderful dealer. I cannot say enough about Dick from hmstamps.com. He has 20% off at all times and his customer service is incredible. You will never have the problems you are having with the parent company from him. I too would just deny the charges on my credit card. You have the proof from them in the e-mail you were sent that you deserve that credit.
