Hot glue for embellishing jumbo paper clips?

Hi, Everyone!

Is hot glue the best thing to use when embellishing jumbo paper clips? My jumbos have that "colored rubber" (?) coating on them. I don't want the pretty stuff that I'll be putting on them to come off, y'know!

My hot glue gun is actually a low-temp one--that would work, right???

I'm not sure about hot glue, but I do know that jumbo glue dots work! Sounds like a cute project!

Thanks, bzzzeee, for the suggestion about jumbo glue dots...I think because of the "thinness" of the jumbo paper clip, I'd have a lot of the jumbo glue dots hanging out on either side of it... still, I do have some glue dots (not jumbo ones) that I may use for an experiment! Thanks!!!

Sounds like a fun project. Glue "dots" are also available in 1-inch lines that might be better suited to the project:
