Just wanted to share some recent experiences in case this info helps someone...
Gina K - my first order and fast shipping and excellent paper quality - FINALLY a black cardstock with some backbone - just terrific
Unity - been some time since I have ordered from them and I got my recent order lightening fast and a bag of wonderful free gifts was in the package - wow
Beacon Adhesives - I had 4 unopened pkgs of zip dry that are about 1-2 years old and the glue was hard like a rock; I contacted Beacon ONLY to ask them what the shelf life of this glue was and they responded that shelf life depends a lot on use and storage and they'd replace all 4 packs - I had the replacements within days of that email response from Beacon and I didn't even ask for replacements - outstanding

I have always had great service from SP&Company. Speedy shipping, great communication and good quality products at a great price. And the owner is super sweet, too! Link: http://spandcompany.com/store/
I also have enjoyed working with Dr. Phil Scraps. He held a virtual crop this past weekend that was a lot of fun and he was very professional throughout the event.

I hope lots of people add to this thread--I love hearing great service tales!
I know I must lead a charmed life, lol. I have mostly nothing but positive experiences when shopping for stamping and crafting supplies - both online and in stores.
Recently I was in a Joann Super Store, which I've heard people complain about. When I got to the checkout, the cashier asked if I had a coupon. I said, "Oh no, I don't." She reached under the counter and got a 40% coupon to scan on my item, smiled and handed me a flyer with more coupons for the next couple of days.
I've gotten friendly with the lady in the fabric/crafting dept. at my Walmart Supercenter. I asked about some new things I had heard would be arriving. She asked me for my email, and then sent me a note that said she was stocking the shelves with the new stuff, and she didn't want me to miss out.

I'll second Gina K., her products and service are top notch.
Another company that I've always had very speedy service with is Verve Stamps. I am fairly close, they're in Idaho and I'm in Washington, but I usually get my order within a couple days.

I'm another happy Joann customer. Like you, I have had the cashier help me out with coupons when I forgot mine. Another time, I was at the store the day before a big sale, and the cashier over-rode the register with the sale price.
I agree, it's great to have a positive thread to be able to respond to.
Being on the other side of the world with restricted access to a lot of stamp companies' products because not many stamp/scrapbooking stores import anymore because of the internet and online shopping and excessive shipping costs, I have always had fantastic service from these 2 companies, shipping directly fast and at the cheapest possible postage rates for me. I love Impress because I can get all my Memory Box and Savvy stamps and dies from them too, and Alextamping because of their wonderful silhouette images and the different mounting options they offer. 110% high praise for both of them! http://impressrubberstamps.com/ http://www.alextamping.com/

Fast service from Gina K, Oozak, Paper Garden Projects, Paper Smooches, and Marker Pop! I'm sure I'm missing some other ones too... Oh! And I Heart Papers and All That Scraps!
I have had several online companies that I like but the most recent one was really fast.
I ordered from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps on May 2, (probably in the afternoon) received an order confirmation. Before it even read the confirmation, received an email that the order was shipped. Received the order on May 6th. They are located in Pennsylvania and I am in California.
Another company, Local King Rubber Stamp has great customer service. I placed 2 separate orders. Received one very quickly-they are located in Canada. Am still waiting for the second order. I emailed LKRS and received a prompt email from Lisa. She said they had been having trouble with orders getting to customers in the US in a timely manner. (The shipping notice on the 2 orders were only a day apart.) she asked me if I could wait a few more days to see if the 2nd order arrived. I waited for about another week but still had not received the 2nd order. I emailed her and she apologized and said she would send a second package out the next business day. Hopefully, this one arrives.
My LSS owner has companies she will not order from anymore because of bad customer service so it's not just the individual customers who are mistreated. One company she orders from-Impression Obession-treats their customers like they want their business. She had an order being held because of some back order items and she was able to add additional items to the previous order so all could be shipped at the same time.
Glad to know there are companies that value their customers.
I know there is a thread here about their questionable customer service, but I recently had a GREAT experience with Simon Says Stamp. I received some adorable kitty stamps from them, but when I stamped the cats they were missing the tips of their ears. :( I sent a quick email off to them, they asked for a photo to verify (a photo of the card I had made was enough) and two days layer a replacement set was in my mailbox.

Anyone had experience with Stamp and Go? My friend ordered from them and has not received her order. She has tried to email and the email was returned as undeliverable. There is no phone number on the website.
Thank you
I have to nominate Waltzing Mouse for their customer service. I had gotten one of their sets and could not get one of the stamps (actually a large one, the one I liked best in the set) to stamp properly. I tired every tip suggested to get a good impression with no luck. I've been stamping for a long time so I could tell the stamp wasn't deeply etched (the others in the set were fine). Anyway I emailed Claire and explained the situation..no problem..she sent me a new stamp for the one that didn't work..she also included a little something extra for my trouble. So I would not hesitate ordering from Waltzing Mouse!
I have recently ordered from Papertrey Ink and had excellent service and speedy delivery. I had read so many bad things about them awhile back but have ordered twice just recently from them and could not be happier!
I've received good service from Marco's Paper and Stamping Scraping - I placed an order from the latter late Thurs night and had it on Mon...from MO to CA.
Hi everyone. I thought I would tell you about a company I had never heard of but just had a great experience ordering from. Over the weekend, I was trying to find some penny black wood stamps that I wanted and was googling them and a company called 123stitch came up. I hadn't heard of them but they had all the stamps I wanted in stock so I decided to give them a try. I ordered them Sunday night and they arrived today (Wednesday)! Super fast and great communication. I will definitely order from them again. They have different sales each week too.

I nominate All That Scraps---fast shipping at reasonable prices, great customer service and the C C Design Cut die are very detailed but cut very easily and the die-cuts are easy to release from the die. They get my vote.
I've been buying some of their storage binders and related accessories.
All orders were filled correctly and shipped very quickly. On my last order, I even received an email to ensure that one of the items was what I really wanted - so add proactivity to the list of pluses.

Crafty and Savvy Crafters gets a shout out from me. I ordered some dies late Friday night and they arrived on Tues. That's lightening fast shipping considering the Mon. holiday. Free shipping on dies with lots to choose from and there's a special going on thru 5/31/13. Chic and Savvy Crafters Home Page
I have to add "Taylored Expressions" My last order I ordered on a Friday at 2am, and had my order in my mailbox by 10am on Monday!!!! THAT is great service. Now I dont expect that to happen everytime I order, but I really like them!! I recently also ordered from My Favorite Things and Papertrey Ink and had good service from them also
Shout-outs for Papertrey Ink, Oozak, Marco's Paper, Bonnie's Best Tools, Scor-Pal.

I'll add cre8it (aka dotcomvillage.net). They make the 'sheer heaven' vellum alternative paper. I placed an order, they shipped quickly. One pack of paper was missing ($15.00 - eek). I sent an email, they responded immediately and, no questions asked, no hassle, they immediately sent me (no charge) the pack of paper that was shorted in my original shipment. Terrific!

I have to give a big "shout out" to Sharon at "No Time to Stamp?". In a recent order, I had a problem with an embossing folder......she promptly sent me a new one and did not even want me to send the defective one back to her. Her orders always arrive quickly too.
I also have to say that I have always had good service from PaperTreyInk too.......I order very regularly and have always had great customer service from them.

I also had an excellent experience with 123Stitch a few months ago. Prompt and reasonable shipping, and wide selection on their site.

I'm glad you mentioned Chic and Savvy Crafters - I was going to if someone hadn't. I bought some dies last year; they were well priced and shipped so fast! And Amber, the owner, posts here on SCS and is so nice.

Wow, I'm stunned you had a fast shipment. I ordered a set of nesties from 123Stitch on May 26th and just today got the notice that they are ready to ship. By the time I get them, it will be more than two weeks from order date to delivery date. On the other hand, I ordered from ellenhutson.com last Friday night and received the shipment Monday afternoon....and with EVERY order she sends a gift that's perfect for making a thank you card right away. And I mean a REAL gift, not just some junk she couldn't sell to anyone.
When a vendor doesn't have in stock what I have ordered, am I the only one who expects them to tell me that so if I am in a hurry I can order elsewhere?
Love Gina K too. That's where I get 90% of my cardstock. But also Paper Smooches always have a free set each month W/ a $60.00 purchase and the customer service is fantastic. I placed an order and they were out of the free set and got a e-mail asking if I would like to substitute another set and they sent it right out.
