I just wanted to let everyone in the Splitcoast community - old timers and newbies alike - know how very, very much I love this place ad how very, very grateful I am for a "safe haven" to visit whenever I have time.
Sometimes I feel like I need to stop adding to so many conversations, like some may feel that I'm a "thread hog" or whatever, but that's my own perception. Everyone is so very kind and helpful and downright friendly!
Anyway - I don't want to ramble on and on, but I definitely wanted to thank everyone who has ever given me an idea to implement in my crafty pursuits, my storage/organization, my personal life, my self esteem, and on and on...
Stampers/artists in general are wonderful, and Splitcoast is home to the best of the best! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!

Reason: Close up some gaps :)
What a lovely post, Sue! Thank you for posting your thoughts today. I agree with everything you said. I feel the same way about SCS and all the caring, warm, kind people who come here.

I echo your sentiments about SCS! Adding to the conversations here is what keeps this place lively and interesting, so I can't ever imagine thinking someone was a "thread hog"! I love reading everyone's posts!
Sue, I don't think of you or anyone else on these boards as "thread hogs". If it wasn't for you and the others the boards would have dried up a long time ago and I wouldn't have anything to read and learn from. Sometimes I read the posts for information, sometimes for a chuckle but mostly I read them because I'm very much an introvert and these boards make me feel as if I belong without having to say anything..I can just sit back and observe.
I feel the same way. So many times when I've made a comment in some ones gallery about a card I really liked. And wanted to know more about it. The person who made the card takes time to private message me. Or to say Thank you for the nice comments I messaged them. That I really "Made Their Day Better" or give them back confidence to continue making cards or projects here. I've learned a lot here as a Stamper.
Actually Sue-I just saw one of your responses the other day and was thinking how much I appreciate your contributions here!
I agree with you though about the site....such a blessing and inspiration to me!
And I love your contributions and your willingness to welcome people who are new and help everyone - thanks for making it a great place to share and learn!
Sue- We love you too. I am always so excited to see you post because your one of my favorites. I adore you to pieces. If we lived close I would be inviting you over all the time so we could craft together.
Don't feel bad I have been scaling back too because I felt like I was thread hogging and don't have anything to contribute any more.
Sue, PLEASE don't stop posting and to others who may think you're thread hogging please don't think that way! In all the years I've been coming to SCS for help, tutorials, gallery ideas etc, etc, I have NEVER once felt that anyone has been hogging a thread. I don't view it as that at all, but rather look at it like what one person responds to may trigger another thought or suggestion that you think of after you've already posted. I've learned HEAPS from so many of you and for that I'm always and forever grateful. Thank you so much to everyone who contributes to this board you are all amazing!

Sue, you cannot imagine what an inspiration you are to me and I enjoy your posts immensely. You and many other regular posters make SCS such a fun and wonderful place.
Sue - I love your posts! I'm a frequent (near constant) lurker here and I have always noticed your comments and never once thought you were being anything like a thread hog! You are always very courteous and helpful to everyone and I think you are a valuable part of SCS. This is truly an awesome place because of contributors such as yourself.
Awww - you guys are gonna make me cry! Thanks for reinforcing my opinion of SCS - the happiest place on earth! (despite what the Disney folk claim - its really here, ya know...)
I am a new member. I enjoy all the comments from the 2 word ones to the long detailed ones. It really is the happiest place. Sometimes I log on twice a day ....
I snorted out loud and was so glad I was not drinking something
when I looked at your post count... (after reading your thoughts of how much you post)
seeing as we started chattering in here the same year...
it's funny how people's perceptions of themselves are not how you see them at all
Thanks for the smiles
That's hilarious, Stacy! You have to understand, though - I was a lurker for a looooooooong time before I actually contributed to any conversations. It's only the last couple of years that you can't shut me up... ;)
I love reading your posts Sue and I have never thought for even a nano-second that you are hogging the threads. Your kindness, thoughtfulness and insight is always appreciated
Back in 2013, I posted a new thread of: Does being a crafty person make you feel on the outer sometimes?. I had been feeling like I was quite worthless & some kind of freak - and to be honest, a super-boring person to talk to or to even be around :(. Your contribution to that conversation helped me so much and made me feel that it was OK to be "me" and that I could celebrate my crafty side & not see it as some sort of social disability which was how I had been made to feel. Knowing that other people understood how I felt has made such a HUGE difference to my life - and most importantly, gave me a kick-start to make some big changes in my life which I have not regretted for a moment - and oh, I feel so at peace inside because of it: I can't thank you enough Sue xx (And of course, I am very grateful to all the other SCS'ers who contributed to that conversation too - bless you all!).
The votes are in and it's official now. Gregzgurl (Sue) is not a thread hog!
Hmmm. Although come to think of it, we haven't seen her sewing room, so who's to say.... LoL ;)

Good thing you didn't see it before the purge/pack/move event last fall! And that's all I have to say about that...
Thanks for all of the amazing support, everyone! You're just validating my assessment of Splitcoast for me all over again!
Sue, you do post more than many on here, but rather than seeing you as a "thread hog" it makes me think of you as a friend. It feels like we're having a conversation. I love spending time here and reading what everyone has to say. It feels like my community, and I love it here!
