Can anyone help me find some of these boxes to buy? Apparently I am a lousy googler because I cannot find anything remotely like this.. even from the original site of the pin..
Please..Anyone?
Missy
After having visited Ginger's display on pinterest, and based on what she does (craft/art show circuit), and having a son who is on a similar art circuit, my guess is that she had them custom made for her.
You could see if you could find something like that at Michaels or HL in the wood section...maybe. I used a google image search for unfinished wood display boxes and found nothing like them at all.
Thanks to both of you. I have not been able to contact the original poster. It goes to a website that is like a group craft sales thing and I cannot locate it on there.
Custom built is NOT what I want to hear.. I may have to send the hubbs to the garage. Ugh..
Search for IKEA Moppe chest. They come in different configurations (4 drawer, 9 drawer, short/long combos, etc.). There are links for IKEA, as well as eBay. Here is one such link:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wooden-Chest...715454-5825442
I thought they looked like drawers out of a bigger storage unit as well. The IKEA link is probably the best bet. Although, depending on how many you want, that can end up being expensive. Buying the storage piece just to get a bunch of little "wooden boxes"....
Take a look at the boxes at Crates, Boxes, and Trays. There are wood boxes as well as tin and others, but you may see something you like.
Thanks for that link! Even if I never, ever bought a single thing from them (which I'm sure I will - fabulous items and reasonable prices), I had a bizillion ideas pop into my head just browsing! I'm drawn to containers in general, and those made of metals and woods in particular, and there were so many really cool ones! I've bookmarked the site so I can go back again (over and over and over and...) Thanks again! I just love Splitcoast for so very many reasons - terrific resource for things you never even expect...

I agree, Sue. Great site. I, too, have a container fixation. I love the "idea" of organization, but alas, some of my containers just sit empty. But I still love them.
