Favorite stamp companies?
I've been a long time, Stampin Up customer. I've been trying to compile a list of as many companies that sell rubber stamps (rubber, clear, poly, etc). 90% of my stamps are from Stampin Up. I just love their quality. The others come from Hero Arts or misc ones that I pick up from Michaels/JoAnn's. I have seen quite a few from Amuse Studio that I love as well as Close to My Heart.
What about yours? Who are your favorite companies?

#1 is My Favorite Things. I also like wplus9, Mama Elephant, Waltzingmouse. I haven't bought any yet, but I've been close to grabbing some of the sets that Altenew has.

I started with SU and nothing else (300+ sets), but since photopolymer stamps came out, I'm gradually selling off all the rubber except for ones I can't bear to part with.
For the last 7 years or so, Papertrey Ink gets the bulk of my money each month, followed by My Favorite Things, and occasionally Waltzingmouse and Wplus9.
I have a few sets from Avery Elle, Cas-ual Friday, Clearly Besotted, Lil' Inkers, Mama Elephant, Reverse Confetti, and Uniko Studio. I'm watching but haven't purchased yet from Altenew and Neat & Tangled (the sets A Long Time Ago and Time Warp would make the scifi geeks in my family very happy).

I love stamps. I have stamps from so many different companies, each one special and loved by me. Special favourites thatI go back to again and again, I think would be Hero Art and Papertrey.

Haha, Ms. Anna. You have a soft spot for Whipper Snapper Designs. Very funny. I have a soft spot for Whipper Snapper too and have for many, many years (when you were just here stamping with us, I think). Girls, Ms. Anna Wight is a talented artist and designs for Whippersnapper! So my favorites are Stampin' Up!, Whipper Snapper, Penny Black, Hero Arts, Inky Antics, Magenta, House Mouse, Stampendous ... and about 100 other companies. I am signed up right now for a Whipper Snapper/Penny Black swap here on Splitcoast. You could sign up too!!!

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I haven't heard of many of those companies. Can't wait to go and scope them all out. I do mostly Christmas/Winter stamps, so hopefully I can find some that I like.

So many! Mostly Stampin'Up, especially older sets. Impression Obsession, Gina K Designs, Hero Arts, Inkadinkado, Heartfelt Creations, Serendipity, Savvy, TAC, DRS Designs, Wordsworth, Luni, Repeat Impressions, I Brake for Stamps, and so many more.
I expect my list to grow now that I've had good experiences with photopolymer stamps. Already put stuff from Neat and Tangled on my wish list!

My number one is SU! (being a demo) but I am an EOS (Equal Opportunity Stamper.) If I like it, I'll buy it. Some of my faves: A Muse, Denami Designs, Viva Las Vegas, Art Impressions, Prickley Pear, Raisin Boat, Sparkle & Sprinkle, DRS, Darcie's, Taylored Expressions, oh my, I could go on and on. Probably be easier to name the ones I don't particularly care for but if something trips my trigger, I'll buy it anyway.

We can't leave out Stamper's Anonymous and Magenta. Also like Just for Fun. And for sheer quantity and variety of styles there's Viva Las Vegas and Stamp Francisco.

There are literally many hundreds of companies. I would advise you to start an excel sheet with notes or else over time you will forget who has what, who you like best, etc.
I might also suggest to you if you are thinking of selling what you make, to check their angel policies...for example Whipper Snapper has super cute images but is definitely NOT angel. Sometimes that is under angel, other times it is on their home page, sometimes under terms and conditions...and sometimes you have may have to contact them via email to find out. I keep those in a book which is why I am saying to email and not call and I also have it in the excel.
I also keep companies I know closed/no site in a separate sheet so I dont go looking for it.
You are in for a lot of fun! Looking at new companies is always fun to me. And you will start to notice there are a lot of same/similiar things/quotes that may differ only in fonts.
I do have a separate email though I use for signing up because you can get a LOT of emails with new product/sale info/going to be a show announcement, etc.

Favorites are hard. Depends on your style. If you like detailed for coloring...I'd look at Northwoods-the color quality in their online cat isnt great but look at the card gallery_a lot of nice ones. If you like CAS...a lot of the clear stamps work for that like Lawn Fawn. If you want companies that often have dies to match...My Favorite Things is a good choice. If you want good background stamps I'd look at Impression Obsession (IO) cover a card (6 x 6). If you like funky stuff...Stamp francisco, 100 proof press...if you are willing to go raw rubber and mount yourself...you could look at River City works. DRS is a good one for sentiments. IO has some really nice florals. Funny...Art Impressions...the funky ones above...
If you google "rubber stamp company lists" they will come up. Here's one for example:
RSMadness - the original stamping magazine
You have to be patient with the lists. They are not always updated lately and sadly companies do come and go. But you can cull a lot of companies from them. As a matter of fact...there is one here....I have to find the link.....

Years ago, I started with Posh Impressions, Hero Arts, Embossing Arts and Stampin' Up! Today, I stick with SU (of course!), Hero Arts, CTMH and, occasionally, Technique Tuesday and Stampington & Co. Many stamps companies have lovely designs that are not my style so I know not to buy them. Other times I will find a stamp I really like and it seems impossible to find it to actually buy it and use it. There used to be quite a few stamp stores in my area that would carry some interesting stamps by smaller companies but, sadly, the stores have all closed.

Besides SU, I like Gina K. Designs, SweetnSassy Stamps, Verve, and My Favorite Things. There's probably other companies that I would really like, but I refuse to even look at because these five take up most of my stamping budget.

Taylored Expressions
My absolute favorite is Taylored Expressions. I was heartbroken when they recently stopped their monthly stamp and card kit. Now I wait each month for their monthly reveal. I especially appreciate that they put out dies to match some of their stamps. The quality is exceptionally--nice deeply etched red rubber stamps on a thick plastic sheet.

Thanks for the awesome list. Each holiday I give hubby a wish list with links so he can confidently buy the right item ;).
I usually include a new-to-me company, my SU demo's contact info and a reminder that I accept cash
I have a lot of window shopping to do this year!

I was very inpressed (pun intended) with Lawn Fawn! Their stamps give a wonderful impression, and the dies fit perfectly! I also love how so many of the sets will compliment other sets! I wish they would have a few more non cutesy sets tho.
I also like Stampendous.
Very disappointed with my PTI sets. They don't stamp very well even after many uses. (I use Memento inks.)
I don't buy SU anymore. Way too pricey, and I don't like having to assemble them! I also don't like having to find a demonstrator to do something I should be able to do myself, order them!
