I have been scanning the posts that show the boards at convention, trying to see if my contest entry for SU! made it anywhere (I think it was from October of 2006?).
I didn't win the contest (obviously) and have been wondering if it just got thrown away or what. Did anyone happen to see this card on the boards?
That card is ADORABLE!! If it didn't make it up on the boards there better be a DARN good reason! :-) Great job!!!! Don't have the set--but now I want to order it!!!

Sorry I didn't see this card. What a clever idea. I'm imagine they get hundreds of cards and have a hard time selecting what goes up. This should have mad it up there tho!
WOW... that is wy too cute. what an imagination! I did not see it on the boards but if i would have taken a picture of it to show eveyone how FAB it is!

It wasn't there, but they also use the cards for the Regionals and they use them for the Stamper's Showcase. I had 4 cards on the boards this year and they were from my convention drop offs from last year. I also had 1 at the MN Regional last year in September.

Well it should have been up there. It is a fantastic card. Maybe it just didn't fit into any of the color themes. All the cards were put in color groups. I love it though and think you did a fabulous job creating it.

i agree that it is a great card! i'm sure that SU would never insult a creative person's efforts by 'throwing it away'. If they weren't going to publish it at some time, I'm sure they donate submission cards to a good cause- perhaps the Ronald Macdonald Houses?
Wow I did not get the pleasure of convention this year but that is an adorable card. I would really love the instructions for how you did that. It sure did deserve a place at convention. I could not possibly see how anyone would want to throw it away though. Not sure what they do with all the card come to thinik of it. Maybe they keep them or donate them to a worthy place.

Amy, it might be on one of the boards at Regionals. The Louisville is next month and I'm sure they will have new boards up there. Are you going? If not I'll be on the look out for your card. I did find one of Audrey's at Convention, none of mine yet!

Hi Ann! No, I am not going to regionals because I am due on 9/2 to have this baby...I just thought it was too close, timing-wise. I would definitely appreciate you looking out for the card...if it's there, would you mind taking a picture? That's cool about Audrey's card, congratulations to her! I am hoping to make it to the meeting at Receptions in late September. I think that would be fun!
I will be going to regionals in Louisville.. and will be on the lookout for this card. If I find it.. I will take a couple pics!

OMG how absolutely clever of you! That card is adorable!!! Definately will have to case! I can't get over how cute it is and it would be perfect on a scrapbook page from our recent trip to the san diego zoo...how inspiring!
